Balance %26 mold issues. We bought a top loader so we wouldn’t have to deal with mold ruining our clothes. A year later and we have mold! We have used the clean cycle and tried vinegar and baking soda. All that does is release more mold onto our clothing for the next cycles. Where is the mold (soap scum) hiding at in this washer? It’s so frustrating!

samsung's smart washer automatic temperature control (atc) doesn't know the definition of hot water. there's no way to override atc, either. "..in those regulation cycles, hot temperature is similar to acceptable adult bath-water temperature." -user manual no adult would take a bath in that water. if i want warm water, i would select warm water. the only way to get enough hot water into the tub is to turn off the cold water supply. if this information was disclosed at the time of purchase, i would not have bought this washer. $600 is down the drain.

We bought this as a replacement, by far the worst appliance decision we have ever made. I would give it less than 1 star if I could. Often gets out of balance despite checking to ensure level and everything else imaginable (full load, half load). The default feature when it is out of balance is to throw a code then restart the cycle to dump an additional amount of water. Always occurs when it enters the spin cycle, hence it is starting over. This continues over and over wasting a lot of water. I would never recommend buying this washer, you cannot set it and forget it, might as well wash clothes by hand with the amount of attention we have to give this was washing machine. Avoid at all costs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is pretty nifty. I love the glass top that allows you to peer inside. The washer automatically sets the water level to exactly the amount best suited for the size of the load which is super cool. So far the washer is very quiet, does not rattle at all and clothes come out clean. My only issues are that I am not a huge fan of the auto lock--I always am running back with a forgotten item and it is a pain to stop and resume. Also nowhere in the instructions does it say if you can use detergent pods. They don't really fit in the detergent dispenser which is disappointing. I called Samsung and they said pod detergents are fine but you need to throw them right in the drum and not in the detergent dispenser. The manual should really be updated to address that. The cycles seem really long compared to my old washer--usually over an hour! Otherwise, I am getting used to all the tech and it doing the 'thinking' for me. Recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer is large for washing large comforters and large loads. There are many preset load settings and everything is easily customizable. Once connected to WiFi, you can remotely start and stop loads, the system will also alert when each cycle is finished. It is a very adaptable and simply effective washing system.

It does its job perfectly, cleans clothes very well, runs quietly, and offers a variety of useful settings for different types of laundry. It's also energy and water efficient. I highly recommend it for its quality and performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very happy with this machine. It is quiet and efficient. Certainly gets the clothes clean without issues even with extra large loads. Seems like the auto fill section normally gets it right! The biggest complaint that I have is that the alarm is the same as my Samsung dryer; when both machines are running it would be nice to differentiate between them. Maybe give a variable volume level on them would also work, a bit quieter than I prefer. But, that is nit picking.

Bought for a new home after having in another home. Cleans well. Usually just run on normal cycle with warm wash on auto water level selected. The washer is now on the main living area. It was in the basement in our previous home. 3 stars because it is very loud especially the drain cycle. The pump is obnoxiously loud and vibrates. Also seems to run dry for too long. I wouldn't recommend this unit because of this.
