i like that this is so much quieter than my last washer, but it just doesn't spin the clothes dry enough. there is no way to add an extra spin cycle either. now i have to dry my clothes twice as long in the dryer. i'm seriously considering returning it if it's possible. the soap dispenser is in an inconvenient spot too. not a big deal really, but when using a heavy jug to pour it in, it's a bit difficult. i, personally, don't like using the little cups that the detergent comes with, it's so messy.

I probably should've written this a lot sooner, but have been happy with having a new washer in general. However, after some months it's been challenging to use so here's my review: this washer is not made for shorter people. For reference, I am 5'1” and have a really hard time reaching the bottom of the washing machine to take out our clothes. I have been washing clothes my whole life and never have had this issue with a top load washer before. This is also one of the smallest size washing machines they have. My mother is 5'2” and also has the same issue with her Samsung model (unsure of size). Just because someone is not as tall, we shouldn't have to be forced to purchase a more expensive front load washer. It really is a shame. I unfortunately need to use a step stool, which is very inconvenient, and forget about when I have a big pregnant belly.

There are directions in the manual for cleaning the detergent drawer. These directions are not accurate. No matter what we do, we cannot remove the dispenser drawer from the washer. It is always coated in mold/mildew, especially on the fabric softener side, which is always half full of water. (The manual actually says it is normal for the tray to have water in it after a load. Yuck! I have a basting tool from the kitchen that I have to use to clean the water out of the tray before and after every load.) If it was just a basic tray, we might be able to clean it while it's still attached to the washer, but there are little parts to it that you can't separate and get clean. We've followed the directions in the manual, in YouTube videos, in Google searches, and nothing works. Also, we've had the issue that other reviewers have mentioned -- the unbalanced load. The washer doesn't really tell you the load is unbalanced. It just keeps repeating the rinse cycle indefinitely. You could go through sooooo much water if you start the washer and leave home. So you have to stay home and babysit your laundry. The only way to get through it is to force the washer to stop and then rearrange the very heavy, wet contents, until it finally decides it will go to the spin cycle. Terrible!

We love this washer and all the settings make it so much easer to use, just pick your load type and set the dial and the washer adjust the temperature, the water level . it plays a little tune when its done, I can hear it from my train room and I know when to go put the clothes in the dryer. The ActiveWave agitator is fantastic. It also dose a test spin before starting to check for even loading so the spin cycle is Smoove running. it is quieter running then our old washer so I listen for the little tune at the end to know its done. It is just my wife and I so we use it to do three loads a week, the one setting I use the most is the Normal load setting. It sets the water level to extra high and the water temp. to Warm there is also a Heavy Duty cycle a Delicates, A Bedding and Waterproof, a Quick Wash, a Deep wash, a Rinse & Spin And a Self Clean Cycle that is great for cleaning without any cloths in it. The Water temp, and water level and Heavy, Normal and Light loads are also adjustable, if you want to do it your self without using the auto settings.

It has a very large drum so you can put large bulky items in without any problems. It has many options for cycles and water temp. It is also very quite and easy to use.

we just got our samsung washer delivered my husband installed it himself super easy and we are already doing laundry. it's a beautiful machine rubber on the bottom so it doesn't scratch dark lid and it's not noisy at all i would definitely recommend this machine to anyone looking for a good quality washing machine with lots of features at a reasonable price we are very satisfied.
