Samsung top load washer is very useful for laundry. Keeps clothes fresh.

I have had this washer for about 1 year and every load I do, I get sooo frustrated that the spin/and drain cycles are sooo long.The washer spends a-lot more time spinning than it does agitating!! Heavy soiled clothes do not come clean because of the ridiculously short agitation time!! Both the wash and rinse cycles are very short and make up only about 1/3 of of the complete cycle....other 2/3 of the cycle is draining and spinning (yes, I timed it)
It is very wasteful on water as well if you have started a cycle but want to change it, it drains all the (warm) water out before it starts the new cycle.... no 
way to save the water!! Such a waste!! 
Won't fill/run with the lid open, so adding to the load is inconvenient 
. If you want to add clothes and it is in spin mode, there is no drum brake and you have to wait for the drum to stop spinning/rotating which can be 4-5 minutes. 
It would be nice to have control over my own washing machine..... and not have to be frustrated by  terrible design/programming/features .... and the product manual is a joke.....limited information 
Overall = Disappointed !!!

Terrible Programming/Cycles with no control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Samsung washer! It’s very quiet, cleans clothes thoroughly, and has a lot of useful settings. The design is modern and fits perfectly in my space. I also appreciate how energy-efficient it seems. Definitely worth the purchase!
