This is not Parmigiano. This is some sort of fake American product called "parmesan" that has twice the salt and none of the flavor of regular Parmegiano cheese. It is coated in some sort of flower or cornstarch which keeps it from melting as well so you need to turn up the heat or else you get big chunks of cheese sticks on whatever you're putting it on.

Have purchased this product on several occasions and each time it has molded within ten days of purchase making it not an economical purchase. The expiration date being much later than when the product molds. Would not recommend this product. Very dissatisfied.

We put parchment paper on a cookie sheet then put a bunch of this cheese on it and flatten it out. I bake it at 350 for about 20 mins, then let it cool for just a few minutes, then cut it up with a pizza cutter. Takes place of our rolls and it super yummy broke up on salads.

Real parmesan cheese in a nice large container. No fillers just real cheese shredded. The parmesan cheese is always fresh. We keep in on hand and sprinkle over the vegetables and salad. Already shredded is a plus. Price is reasonable for this large 24 oz jar. I keep the containers after to put my snacks in!

This is my second time purchasing Kirkland shredded Parmesan cheese. Both times, I used the cheese once, resealed it and stored it in the back of my refrigerator. Unfortunately once again, the cheese is prematurely molded before it's expiration date. I would not recommend this for regular use. Only for special occasions when you know you're going to use it immediately. Very disappointing.

Purchased for making parmesan potatoes. Everyone loved the flavor so I have made them multiple times and shared recipe and package so we can use it. Great price, amount and flavor. I love that I don't have to shred myself.

For years, I have been buying parmesan at Sam's in a wedge. Suddenly that option is gone and a plastic container with an unknown product is offered in it place. I HATE IT!!! Who knows what you are pushing as parmesan. Come on, your customers are not idiots.
