Several of the cans in two of our ordered cartons were dented to the point of being busted open and it was obvious that the cans were restacked into the cartons because the contents were mixed. And the selling unit was not damaged except for the flaps on the ends were unglued. Which indicates that the damage cans were known about.

1box was broken open and several cans damaged so badly the wet cat food had out spilled out. I used on line service to get a refund. A day or so later i get an email telling me to pack up remai ing cans. The reason i have things shipped is because i cant stand much for time due to injuries. And now i am asked to load, haul, and unload around 50 plus cans to the store? Sams shipped them with no packing. I should receive a refund for atleast all the damaged cans if not the whole box.

I don't know what is going on with cat food anymore. I already left a negative feedback and returned a bag of Meow Mix (different manufacturer) a month ago. We'd been using it for years, and suddenly with a new bag, close to a dozen indoor cats wouldn't go near it. Now something is dangerously off with this 60-can package of Friskies. This too we have been buying from Sam's for a couple of years. The cats always loved it. Last Friday (May 3rd) a new package was delivered to us. We opened it and started feeding it to all of our cats. Suddenly, many of them started acting weird. They stopped eating it, and wouldn't go near it. They've been continuously throwing up, but mostly bile. They won't even eat fresh chicken or canned tuna. It's almost as if they can't smell anymore. I'll be returning the box to the store for a refund, but we're worried and closely monitoring our cats.

12 cans were smashed. The bottom of the box was wet and slimy with one of the open cans. I cut my finger on a can lid. And now I have to haul the cans and pack them up to FedEx to get a return- ridiculous! I’m trying to take pictures, but this app will not let me post probably because it’s a negative review.

Normally I only buy Pate cat food; however, beggars can't be choosers, so I bought this "new to me" Variety Wet Cat Food. The 12 ferals and 1 indoor/outdoor I feed licked the bowls clean. They love it and it is actually faster for me to divide up so I will buy more. One thing to be careful of though, when you pick up one of these boxes with 60 cans of cat food, try to put your other hand under the box to make sure it doesn't open and dump the whole 60 cans on to your deck like it did to me. Cans went in all directions and two were bent so bad they were leaking. I'll still buy them again but I'll be more careful the bottom stays shut. May God Bless

I’m not sure why but this always comes with damaged cans that I cannot use. The outer cardboard box will be in perfect condition with no dents or tears but at least 25% of the cans inside will have bad dents. It looks like they were packaged that way before shipment.

I am a Cat Rescuer and buy this product regularly. I've had it shipped to me as a donation, and I have purchased it physically in store. Two of the boxes that were shipped within the past month had 100% dented cans. One box had 11 that were opened at the top seam and rancid. The other box had 10 that were opened at the top seam and rancid. Sam's Club was quick to replace them, but clearly there is something wrong if the cans are dented inside the Friskies boxes inside the Sam's shipping boxes The box that I picked up in store last weekend had three that were opened at the top. You can't see this from the outside unless the product has oozed out or smells. Not sure if it's the manufacture's fault or something that occurs during shipping and handling, but I have been purchasing this product from various stores for over 30 years. This issue is new for me. Makes me wonder if the product is being packaged that way, and sold at a discount. A few months ago, I noticed that the sound of the cans opening was different and the cans felt lighter. It's possible that Friskies changed the packaging and this is the result. As a rescuer, I'm always trying to save money and buying in bulk helps. But it's a disgusting thing to have to deal with.

My cats love this food. The only problem I come across its hard to get it in store.
