This LG refrigerator is all that and more! We just ordered a huge one for the kitchen, as well as dishwasher, washer and dryer; we will continue to buy LG!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this refrigerator for about six months now. So far I am very happy with it. A basic refrigerator, no bells and whistles. I put a digital thermometer inside to monitor temps, and so far, consistent temperatures maintained in the fridge. The freezer, however, might be a little too cold. At the least cold setting, ice cream is frozen to a harder consistency than I would like. It is the winter however, so this is not a major criticism. I like the large door shelves and the adjustable main shelves. I love that it is energy efficient, and very quiet. I had read other reviews of problems with the freezer door opening when the refrigerator door is closed with too much force. This can happen a bit, but the freezer door quickly closes again. It might just be a matter of how well the appliance is leveled. Be warned that there is no light inside the freezer, though this is not a dealbreaker for me. Overall, great appliance at a great price.

I purchased this refrigerator as a spare in the garage after my other one couldn't be fixed. I looked around for something that would suit my needs as a spare, was good quality, and not expensive. I had purchased another brand for the garage and returned it after 4 days. I consider LG products as being of good quality and when I saw this one at a reasonable price, I chose it over the others I was considering because of the LG name. I've had it for 2 weeks and so far, no complaints and I hope it stays that way.

How do I feel now? Refrigerator installed mid-July. As of today, giving it a strong 4+ rating.So far all is good. Admittedly, I keep reminding myself I decided on a fridge smaller (from approx 22 cf to 20 cf) than I've had in past, so still adjusting to that. Pros: * Love the sleek look and "pocket" handle. Some mentioned door too close to floor, but no issue for me * Runs much quieter than previous fridge * Fruit/veggie bin performance best of any I've ever had * Sturdy glass shelves * Door bins - sturdy & will hold two gallon containers of milk * Freezer & fridge temps are holding my selected temps nicely. Cons: (again, acknowledging I downsized)... * Miss fridge meat keeper drawer a lot but such a drawer would eat up too much usable space * Doable but wish there was more fridge door storage - just enough room for my condiments and milk; bottled beverages now go on fridge shelves. In summary, pleased overall based on my downsizing decision and would recommend to others.

I bought this refrigerator as an exact replacement for the very old refrigerator in my rental. Purchased on 11/19/23, delivered on 3/26/24. It blew my mind that a major manufacturer could lose a large item for 4 months! So far the refrigerator does what it is supposed to do. I do wish the inside LED lights were brighter or could be adjusted for brightness. It is a quiet and energy consumption is good. It has no real "features" just cooling and freezing. Manual isn't much help either, I read it a number of times.

Worked perfect as our back up fridge for food during the holidays. I wouldn’t want it to be my main fridge but I love it for the game room!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator a little over a year ago. It had been working fine and suited our needs. I like how there is no computer type screen and how it is lo fi. But then it stopped cooling properly and it’s been a headache. We will need to rebuild one of the systems. Thankfully LG is paying for this, but we wouldn’t have bought the product if we knew we might encounter this problem.

What's not to like? It's a top-freezer refrigerator just exactly the right width to fit through the door into our utility room. The shelves is the door are extra large, which is handy. I use a fridge thermometer and the temperature is even and stable everywhere on the shelves.
