Not sure why everyone says it takes forever to assemble this. The 10-14 hour time it states is pretty accurate. I assembled it by myself in about 10 hours. You will need a drill, hammer, tape measure, a Phillips head attachment, 11mm and 13mm hex attachment, 11 and 13mm deep lug socket and ratchet, and 2 Allen wrench attachments (can’t remember sizes), I also used a 6in extension for the upper window screws because the angle is awkward for a drill. The drill hex attachment and Allen wrench attachment will save a lot of time. I removed all the wood and organized it numerically, this helped a lot as well (Took maybe 30-45 minutes). It might take 2 people for the frame assembly and attaching the swingset beam, but everything else is a one person job, even the roof. The wood seems a little cheap, but that’s how every playset is for this price. Once installed it is pretty durable. There was a hole in the roof (it was a knothole, not damage), but I will apply filler and it will fix any leaks. Overall it seems like a great playset for the price!

Be ready to spend some quality time building this. Arrived in 6 boxes on a pallet. Had forklift damage to 2 boxes. Couldn't tell what was damaged until it was opened. Customer services was NO help. Once opened, it didn't go by box for building- best to lay out all of pieces, which are numbers numerically and go along with directions. Before completing s step make sure to read a step or two ahead to help for clarification. Overall the kids were happy.

LOTS of pieces , 93 page instruction book , approx. 24hrs assembly time using power tools and two people , parts fit well , lots of extra fasteners , retired home imp. contractor and wife , serious DIY project , good quality grandparent purchase

We bought this for my 4 1/2 year old daughter as a Christmas present. It honestly took 14hrs with 3 people but we did not sort anything before we started which probably would have saved time. Everything was in the box with zero damage. It is very cute and I would definitely recommend it. We paid $999 for it which I felt like was a great price for it.

Took two people about 12hrs to put it all together. Really easy to build with all 44 steps of directions. It says box 1-6 but really it’s 1-5 then 6 is the slides which doesn’t have a number on it. You start with box 4 and then it expands from that. You will have screws in every box you open. Prepare Atleast an hour to set the screws out the way and put them in order along with all the wood parts so you don’t have to search. That is what really slowed us down was searching the numbers to find the right board. Awesome play set though.

It seems to be great quality and my 3 yo grandson loves it? We did make 1 alteration. The only way to get in the ground level playhouse is by going under the slide. So we took one ground back panel and put door hinges on it with a latch. It also gave him something else to play with. Plan on 8-10 hour of solid work putting it together. You’ll need minimum of 2 people, 3 people would be ideal. My biggest complaint is they need to do a better job on packing and instructions. The parts are all over the place. No one section is in one box. You may have one part in this box and that part in a different box. And you have to dig to find it. Nothing tells you where to find them. There should be two sets of instructions. One for experienced builders and one for amateurs. My fiancé is an experienced builder and he said with having experience there were easier ways to put it together. Only reason I have 4/5 stars is bc of the way they have it packed. It’s difficult to find stuff. The equipment is great!

The Good: The product itself is great. The quality of the pieces is high. Each piece is stamped with its unique numbers. The hardware bags are well labeled. The bad: The instructions could be 100x easier. There are 6 numbered boxes with TONS of pieces. Do not make the assumption that you start with box 1. The instructions are in Box 3. They refer to piece numbers. Nowhere does it state which box the piece comes in. I highly recommend starting by going through the boxes and just organizing the pieces in some system that makes sense to you. If the company sends me a list of the parts in each box, I would gladly mark up the instructions for the ease of future users. I would do it now but I didn't keep track as I went. This would make it a 5* for me as the worst part of assembly was wasting time to find a piece.

Very cute playhouse for my two year old. She is able to fit her feet in the slats on the rock wall to get up by herself. The monkey bars are pretty small but I’m happy with everything else. My husband and FIL worked very hard for a full day but they got it up no major problems.

Some holes didn’t line up. There are several packages of hardware that was mislabeled. There were different bags with the same hardware vs one bag with all the same hardware. Wood staining is very superficial. For being a children’s play toy there were a lot of splinters. Website is not very user friendly but once I got to customer service, it was a breeze. Customer service rep Blake made a fast and easy process of ordering parts that were damaged upon arrival.

I’m a licensed builder with over 20 years experience. Took me two full days to put this together by myself. Other than that I don’t have too many complaints. My kids love it. Make sure you unpack and sort everything before you start assembling. It will save you loads of time in the long run.
