2 people 1 afternoon
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I included a picture of this swingset when it was delivered so you can have a size idea and plan where to put it. I was surprised it came so compact. It took my husband and his friend 6 hours to fully build this. We are in the process of moving so had to tear it back down but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. You can also find videos online if needed to assembly. My kids love it and the swing set does not rock or move with two 120# kids on it. Comes with 2 wavey slides so limits fighting which is nice. The upper and lower play areas are like separate "play houses". I really like the idea of 2 of everything so my kids don't fight near as much. Overall this is a solid swingset with the added bonus of play houses, would recommend.
5 stars if you have time and patience!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all this thing is AMAZING! It has so much room for little ones to run and play and slide and most importantly imagine! The details are unbelievable and it is so sturdy that it is never leaving this yard. It did take us about two full days to put together with a couple frustrations- the instructions were in box 3 and not box 1, you start with objects in box 4, the instructions tell you the part number but don’t tell you which box they’re in, and at the end you are left with quite a few leftover screws and bolts (which may cause unease but are good to have). Also, the swings are not adjustable and that would have been preferred. Overall the quality is A+ and as I said it is very sturdy and well designed with a lot of attention to detail. If you have a couple friends, a bit of patience, and a whole weekend then you too can be the coolest parent on the block!
A fantastic product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An absolutely fantastic well designed product; it was such a quick and easy install I couldn't believe it. The quality and craftsmanship is top notch. They have really thought about this so well, no sharp edges, truly kid friendly. My kiddo loves it !
Best Swing Set I’ve Ever Owned!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying out the Overland Heights Swing Set, I can safely say it is the best swing set that I have ever owned. For starters, it is much larger than I had pictured in my mind. I initially thought it would only be for the smaller kids but after assembling everything, I feel that it can be used by children of all ages. Whilst some of the parts are certainly geared more towards the little ones, the swing set and the play slides are the prefect size for everyone to use. If I had to give an age estimate for who this swing set would best fit, I would say in the 2-9 year old range. I have 4 kiddos (13, 11, almost 2, and nearly 1) and my cousin and his kids live really close to us (7, 6, 3, and 2). Most of the kids were able to get through the opening under the slide to play with the kitchen set, the older ones had to squeeze through a bit. The 11 & 13 year old were too tall to really use the monkey bars but the 6 & 7 year olds loved it! The steps/rock wall were really easy to assemble and use and the kids loved going down the slides again and again. The swings themselves are very nice! I much prefer these types of swings to the hard plastic ones as it really makes it easy for each of the children to use it. The little bar in the middle was really fun, although we might replace it with a baby swing for now so the littlest kiddos can enjoy it as well. My personal favorite part is the cafe portion, it has a little sink & burner and there’s even a chalkboard that can be used to write the menu. The oldest kids enjoyed drawing different things on it, from menu items to little characters. It also has a small bench, and it’s VERY sturdy. We realized pretty quickly that we were a bit short for some of the assembly so we used the bench to reach. In case you’re wondering, it can hold 250+ lbs. The roof is beautiful and covers everything nicely, which makes me very happy, as I know this will help the swing set withstand the test of time. There are little mesh pieces that go in the windows, which is really nice if you have kiddos that climb all over the place, so they’re not ending up where they shouldn’t be. Another of my favorite bits was all of the detail and decorations. There are little flags on the side where the slides are and a canopy over the cafe. The chalkboard itself is adorable and the roof has some cute little decorative pieces. It just really brought everything together and makes the swing set seem more luxe. The one drawback is that it does take a decent amount of time and at least two people to assemble, more people would be beneficial. Make sure you’re paying very close attention to the directions, the placement of each piece, where all the holes are, etc. We did have some initial issues due solely to user error, however, they were easily remedied and the swing set is now my favorite part of the backyard. One thing to keep in mind if you’re purchasing this swing set is it does take up a fair bit of space. I had plenty of clearance but you’ll want to make sure you have a lot of space to put it. When I asked the kids what their thoughts were the older ones said they loved the swings, slides, and the “upstairs” portion of the play house. They took some of their favorite things out and hung out up there for a while. My 11 year old said it was like a really cool treehouse. The 6 & 7 year olds asked if they could come over every day and our 7 year old neighbor agreed, as she swung from the monkey bars. The littles ones didn’t have much to say but they were just happy to be included in the big kids games and took every chance they could to get down the slides again. They were ALL so excited that we hadn’t even finished assembling before they would ask to “test it out”. The wood is weather treated which was a plus & I noticed the directions said this should be done each year. Overall, a simply beautiful piece, that will look amazing in your yard and also provide years of fun for your children. I would recommend this particular swing set to everyone with kids but specifically those in the 2-9 year old range. If you’re wondering if you should purchase it, do!
Perfect for all ages
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this amazing product and my family is in love. We have twin boys and they outgrew the smaller playset we have. Since we also have a one year old, we didn't want to get rid of the small one. We decided on combining both playsets to create a mega playground. I LOVE the mud kitchen in the bottom and there is no more fighting over a slide. This is exactly what i'd expect to have in a playground. The wood is of nice quality and it is very sturdy. The video to help build makes it perfect. Thank you for this awesome product!
Great
Missing hardware, luckily we had some that would work. Also missing the sign that says kidkraft. My daycare will enjoy it

Worthless and Overpriced
Wood not labeled with numbers. Instructions poorly written and half the boards either did not have the pre drilled holes as listed or they were drilled in the wrong place. Do not purchase anything KidKraft.
