Our attempt to make the white chocolate macadamia nut version of these cookies was completely unsuccessful.  The oven was preheated to 350 and the cookies properly prepared.  After 18 minutes, they were clearly not done - shiny and squishy.  After 30 minutes they looked unchanged, but we took them out and discovered that the white chunks weren't really melted, and were surrounded with raw, melted dough.  The cookie was hollow underneath, like a mushroom, except for the glop of white chocolate and raw dough.  The expiration date was seven weeks in the future, the oven is a modern and  reliable Aga, and we live at sea level, so not sure what went wrong.  My wife is a very experienced baker just looking for a Super Bowl prep shortcut. Cookies made from scratch don't have these problems, so no more packaged experiments for us.

Very disappointed with new formula.  I bought a roll and thought something was wrong with it  so I threw it away. I bought another one yesterday.  It tastes just as bad. I loved the old ones. I have tried several recipes to try and duplicate your formula.   I usually make my cookies from scratch but loved the old formula better than scratch chocolate chip cookies.

We have been eating these cookies for FOREVER and when I seen new recipe I was kind of skeptical but I figured they can't completely change a classic. .... well they did change a classic and although it is prepared better the flavor is not the same. Now what are we to do? Please consider going back. This change was not good. 

We tried the slice and bake chocolate chip cookie dough and it’s delicious! I was surprised to see the bad reviews. They baked nicely, and tasted like made from scratch cookies! We’ll continue to make them over the upcoming holidays. Thumbs up Pillsbury!

Yes I’ve been a big fan of you chocolate chip cookies, I even boasted about it not too long ago to a friend of mine about how the dough is what separated you guys from other pre made cookies. The moment I saw the new recipe package though I knew it was goin to be the end. You can not improve on the best. I was willing to give it a try though. It was worst than I thought . Please go back to your old recipe or your going to keep losing customers

I can’t speak for everyone’s package of cookies, but something is very wrong with the ones I bought.. I used a clean cookie sheet and used no non-stick spray with clean hands and when I bit into them it was more chemical than cookie. It wasn’t even just an after taste anymore I had to spit it out because it was so strong. I don’t understand how this could happen with the ingredients list because it seems so normal. But these are not edible. I baked some Halloween pumpkin sugar cookies at the same time and those came out just fine. I gotta say I have never tasted any cookie that bad.

If I make mistakes it’s because I’m crying . The “ new” recipe for the Halloween cookie taste like you are trying to make a terrible and I mean terrible gluten free cookie. The texture is like sand . Where is the fats that make them soft and crispy. If we promise to not eat the raw dough make it as perfectly unhealthy as it used to be. You are not our mothers.

The cookies were great and when a 12 year old serves them up its even more special. The cookies looked good, tasted good, and Mt granddaughter felt good about her contribution in honoring mother, grandmother, sister, and cousins.
