We have been buying and making Pillsbury's chocolate chip cookies for years because they were great and easy to bake! Why did the powers that be decide to fix something that was not broken??? We do not like the taste or texture of the new recipe at all.

They make the best chocolate chip cookies, without all the time of actually making them from scratch.

It stores well in the fridge and the cookies are sooo good. Pillsbury leftover cookies are by far the best to store overnight too and they keep their crunchy edge but soft center. Perfection!

My family and I used to love these cookies. Within the last 3 years something in the recipe changed. It taste oily and like some weird chemical in it. I taste plastic and it taste artificial. I was extremely disappointed as these were my favorite cookies to serve.. I then decided Eh, maybe I had an off day or maybe the batch I bought was going bad. . So I bought the same pack at a completely different store, checked the date and even bought two different flavors, chocolate chip and sugar cookie. Both same out with the same taste. Please change the recipe back.

My family and I have been a fan of Pillsbury for many years. Especially their cookies as special treats. I was genuinely very excited to see this new recipe being offered, as we generally tend to buy items that are only all national and/or organic. Unfortunately these cookies were BY FAR sub-par! The dough texture was like sand, they left a horrible and weird aftertaste, and they were hard as rocks a few minutes after baking. We will NOT be buying these again. There are currently many all natural and/or organic cookie options out there that are MUCH better than these. Hopefully Pillsbury can get this recipe right since they are such an amazing brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing beats homeade cookies but this pack serves its purpose and I had 24 cookies ready in about 30 minutes with no preparation needed. Good price and decent cookies. I recommended under cooking as I did the minimum time and they still turned out almost well done in a sense

I finally checked this website to see if others felt the same way about the new recipe. And although the Pillsbury response says that most responses are positive, it appears to be completely the opposite. Are these comments being fed to the correct people? People that can make things happen - like bringing back the old recipe? At the very least, please provide a choice between the two - new and original. Then let the consumers pick. I’d be surprised if sales of the new recipe out performed the original recipe. We miss the great tasting cookies. Please Pillsbury, give us a choice!

Do I have to give the dough a star? This new dough is Horrible with a huge capital H. Tasteless, no wonderful smell while baking, even looks different. This dough has been a family favorite for years, but no more, I will not buy this product again. I guess I will have to buy a different brand from now on. Or, hey, here's an idea, I could perfect my own recipe. Never again Pillsbury, you have lost a 20 year customer.

Literally preheat oven, open pack and put on cookie sheet then bake for 10-14 minutes. They turn out quite delicious. Soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside and around the edges. Would purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cookies just can't be beat! Oven baked or straight out of the package, this cookie dough is so delicious! When they catch my eye at the store I just have to purchase them. I wouldn't change a thing.
