I signed up to this site just so I could express my dissatisfaction for the new cookie recipes. I gave one star only because I can't give it 0. I have been baking these chocolate chip cookies as long as I can remember. Every time I've made them for outside the home at least one person has commented on how they are the best chocolate chip cookie they've ever had. This new recipe is lacking taste. I will not buy them again. I'll buy one of the other brands available, that aren't as good as the old chocolate chip recipe, but by far better than the new recipe. As for the "healthier" ingredients, if I was eating healthy, I wouldn't be eating cookies. I am extremely disappointed Pillsbury.

My God! What have you guys done. Would have rated 0 out of 5 if I had the option.  My family here in Puerto Rico have been 100% loyal customers to your original product for over 17 years in the and now we cannot simply eat a single cookie.  This was the only cookie dough we always purchased because over the years the quality was always consistent. This new formula is disgusting. You completely changed our favorite cookies which we used to buy 2 packs per week. Now we are not going to buy them anymore. The new formula is disgusting. The flavor, texture, quality, and after taste is not good. Please go back to the original formula. We miss eating our favorite chocolate chips for dessert.  Thank you

These cookies taste like chemicals...I have gone to culinary school. I've been in the industry for more than a decade.. I Will boycott these. I SUGGEST YOU CHANGE YOUR CHEMICAL RECIPE.  Your Chocolate tastes so bad.Your sugar eggs vanilla everything has a weird after taste. Second time we bought it.  I would give it a zero but that star does not exist.  I cannot believe I had to sign all this up, give my email, birth date, waste my time to come up with a screenname..To leave feedback! Like anyone wants to spend time one this site...There's no incentive to be here as a customer.  Nothing free.Pillsbury used to stand for quality..Now we taste all the corners you skipped to make more money.Come up with a better recipe!  Where is your passion like you guys used to have?  Cant believe I wasted my time... But I am upset.   Ive got this terrible taste in my mouth. 

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t even bother with homemade choc chip cookies anymore. Whenever I bring these cookies they are gone very quickly. They don’t make it to dessert time. Kids and adults love them and think they are homemade

The last couple of times I purchased these 24 count ones, I noticed a big difference in quality and taste and not for the better. Now, they taste more molassses-y and chemical-y and like cheaper ingredients and fillers are being used. I couldn’t understand why I didn’t like them anymore because they have been my go to chocolate chip cookie for years and years and always delicious! Well, then I read online that you changed the ingredients recently. No wonder I noticed such a difference! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE I am begging you to go back to the ingredients before this most recent change! I would be willing to pay more if that is what it would take. Otherwise, I won’t be able to get these anymore and that will be very sad!!! 

I have loved these chocolate chip cookies my entire life and made them for all my children and now grandchildren. I thought maybe we had gotten a bad batch or the wrong ones but when I realized you changed the recipe... a recipe that was perfect...a recipe that was like no other...I was so disappointed. We could not keep these cookies in the house. My husband and I would pick up 2 large rolls at a time every time we went to the store. I see where you said it was a heath thing but this recipe has been around as long as I can remember and the ones who want to complain can make their own health cookies. That is not why we eat the cookies. There are so many products that have changed over the years but this is just one of those products that I have always been able to count on...to give me memories of my child hood and my family. when I am gone maybe its stupid but knowing it will not be here for my future family to make and enjoy is very sad. This is the first time I have ever taken time to complain about any product. Normally if I don't like it I just don't get it again. But these cookies have been so special in our lives by bring us all together. It is very disappointing to know we will not be making these cookies that we love together anymore. And when I need something fast and good to make for any occasion I will not have it because I would never want someone to thing I made these.  If you could please change them back we would be so very grateful.

This was so sad, that I felt compelled to create a pillsbury log-in and deal with the influx of unwanted emails.  These cookies have been my go-to guilty pleasure for 30+ years.  Unfortunately, these are awful.  Not..."not as good'.  They are plain awful.  I can't fathom that anyone actually tasted this before authorizing this change.  Someone thought this was better?  Really?  I couldn't even finish the batch, it's in the garbage now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just as good as home made cookie dough. Came out perfectly good. However you like it- soft or crunchy. I recommend this product. Saves you a lot of time and you can always add anything you want on top.

For many many years I have been a big fan of the Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, so I reluctantly purchased a large size of the new recipe.  I was highly disappointed because these cookies are tasteless!  Not sure why the powers that be made the decision to change the recipe. I threw my receipt away by mistake, so now I cannot get my money back.  If the original recipe goes away, I'll have to make my cookies from scratch.
