Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough was a member favorite that Sam's Club discontinued and replace with inferior and more costly similar products during the last several years. Beyond the higher cost the inferior products offered poor taste and were not safe to eat raw. I should give this 4 stars in consideration of the steep price increase since it was last stocked but I am just happy to see this back in stock and have already purchased two tubs. Now I have hope some of my other favorites no longer store stocked might finally return. Thank you for listening to your member's complaints when you discontinued this product.

This is the 3rd time I've purchased this, and it wont be the last. Now we can have cookies anytime, any size without having to do all the extra work. My favorite thing is to add coconut flakes, caramel pieces and pecans and mix those in. It works perfectly and they turn out extraordinarily exceptional.

So this package says it makes 76 cookies and it does NOT - but to be fair it is because the raw cookie dough tastes so good, I never actually make all of the cookies. We all take spoon fulls of it and eat it raw and then I will bake a dozen or so here and there. This is some GOOOD stuff though! 5 Stars!

My kids loved this stuff. It was so easy for my teens to throw a batch of cookies in the oven and they even threw in some add'ins for some fun recipe remixes.

100% worth the price and makes tons of cookies. I’ve been getting this since I was in college and now I’m a fully fledged adult and I go out of my way to get this.

There are just times when you want a cookie. I decided to use a small Cookie scoop, place in the freezer on our cookie sheet until a little frozen, and then put in a plastic Freezer bag. This way I can take out two at a time and have cookies whenever I want. Beats making homemade specially when you’re short on time.

Pillsbury Cookie Dough tubs yield 9 to 12 dozen cookies, depending upon how large or uniform you make them. Twice a year I make a large buy, 30 to 50 tubs, to supply local supporters of the KAIROS Prison Ministry. KAIROS goes into prisons with 1 dozen home-baked cookies for each and every person inside. Prisoners are introduced to the forgiveness and unconditional love of Christ. Everyone loves the cookies and the reliable consistency of Pillsbury dough guarantees makes this part of the ministry a joy for all, supporters, volunteers, prison staff, and of course the prisoners.

I had company coming and nothing to serve them. My daughter told me about this so I hurried to Sam’s. Was able to make two dozen cookies in a short amount of time for my company. They loved the cookies. Because the batter was hard, I used a teaspoon instead of my ice cream scoop. It worked better. The cookies are a little too sweet for my liking. If you cook them longer, they end up hard. If you take them out sooner, you’ll have a softer cookie.

After baking the cookie were so salty. I am not certain if it was this batch or if Pillsbury always makes their cookie dough extra salty. Perhaps the reason could be that this cookie dough can be eaten without baking and their is some preservative ingredients which makes it saltier. I will stick with Tollhouse.

Unhappy. My batch was not expired yet when I opened it, it was a funny brown color that I thought may have just been a top layer but my cookies came out the same 😩
