I am quite disappointed in this new cookie dough. I absolutely LOVE the chocolate chip cookie dough so I was excited when this new recipe came out.......... Then to my surprise YUCK. So now that's it for me and this cookie dough. You guys should change the recipe back. 

Thank you, Pillsbury...I finally found the perfect refridgerated chocolate chip cookie dough roll! Ever since I was introduced to rolled cookie dough from the fridge, the dough always had a weird “been in the fridge too long” taste after baking, even Pillsbury. No matter who makes them, no matter the fridge, no matter the kitchen. I’ve tried to leave the dough out to thaw a little, but the weird taste steps in. Let a rolled dough cookie sit covered overnight, and it’s a considerably lesser cookie. These chocolate chip cookies, however, are DELICIOUS. It bakes up a little soft right out of the oven, just like the taste I remember from my childhood. Even the next day, the cookies didn’t taste stale or different, just crispy and too darn good. This particular cookie roll recipe has restored my faith in cookies, seriously. If the masses don’t like it, change the name to Homestyle and stock a shelf for me, but PLEASE do not discontinue this recipe. This is the best cookie that I have had in a long, long time and it is ruining my diet. 

The old recipe was absolutely perfect. This new recipe lacks so much pizzazz, it's sad. I'll gladly take the artificial preservatives, colors, flavors and high-fructose corn syrup if it means having the other recipe back! I understand that people want "healthy options" but there's no need to ruin what was a perfect cookie. Please take all of these reviews into consideration and do us all a favor to change it back.

This is my favorite cookie dough. Ever. I always have a tub in my fridge. When I have a sweet tooth, I can just grab a quick spoon of cookie dough and be set. I love that it's safe to eat raw! Pillsbury really knows what they're doing with this recipe! However, I'm suddenly not seeing this available at any of my Sam's Clubs near me. I'm getting really nervous! Last time I went in, I got the Mrs Fields cookie dough since that's all I can find - It's not NEARLY as good. It's also not safe to eat raw, but of course I'm going to risk it anyway. I really hope Sam's is not dropping Pillsbury for Mrs Fields. For my sweet tooth, my sense of joy, and my health.... Please don't discontinue this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically do not by these types of premade cookie dough, but I wanted a quick baking project for ng kids. Now I remember why I do not by then. The cookies spread out so thin and crunchy it was like eating a cracker. The flavor wasn't that good either and had a lot of artificial tastes. The time saves us not worth the money when no one enjoyed the cookies.

Is there any hope of the old recipe coming back? It was my favorite snack and one of the best tasting desserts on earth. The new recipe is horrible. I wont buy again. You must have known they didn't taste as good; otherwise why offer refunds right on the package. 

I love this new recipe! I think the new generation will accept it because we are trying to pick items that aren't as overly processed and tainted with chemicals/fake sugars/flavorings. I appreciate that Pillsbury is trying to be more considerate about the health of their customers. Just like everyone else I love to indulge my sweet tooth every now and then, but I also like knowing that if I eat a cookie I am a picking a slightly healthier version in the process.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pillsbury Ready to Bake Chocolate Chip cookies taste fairly good and are extremely convenient for families on the go (like mine). Not the best-tasting version of their chocolate chip cookies, but when you are in a hurry, these are great to have on hand.
