The giant tub of cookie dough use to be great. But the " no bake needed" tastes terrible when baked. Like overly sweet. Have you ever accidentally used artificial sweetener in your coffee or tea? You think all is well, and you get a mouthful of disappointment......yeah, it's like that. Skip this stuff unless you really need to eat it raw with no risk. Even then, it's a hard pass from me.

Pillsbury Team.  You have obviously worked very hard to bring a more natural and "healthier" product to the consumer.  However, what you failed is to realize who your market catered to.  I too enjoyed these cookies for years.  However, the new recipe is awful and the taste is not acceptable.  I am not interested in worrying about getting my money back.  What I will do is not purchase the product any longer and switch to a different brand or spend the extra time to make them myself.

The previous reviewer *must* have purchased a bad batch, 'cause this is by far the BEST packaged cookie dough I've ever tried.  The cookies are rich, sinful gorgeosity incarnate -- just the right thickness and texture, TONS of delicious chocolate.  I can't say enough good about 'm!

Now, I’m not going to be as dramatic as some of these comments, but I do have to say I bought two packages of these and I am disappointed. The middle of the cookie never cooks. If you bake them long enough to cook the middle you burn the cookie. Not a terrible cookie, but still a let down. Some people might enjoy a softer middle, but I can’t help thinking I’m going to get sick because it’s still so raw inside. Hopefully you guys are working on a new formula! Good luck to you 

I very rarely go though the trouble and actually take time to post a review. However, I am so disappointed with Pillsbury in this instance I feel it necessary. I didn't have to read far down the review list to see a lot of folks with similar feelings as my own, and that if my wife and kids. The new recipe is just awful. If you want details, just keep reading the reviews below, it's all there, over and over and I agree 100%. Unfortunately I will not be buying these treats for my family anymore because they simply don't like them enough to eat them. With the old recipe, we would run over each other to get the last one. It's not like the new recipe just isn't quite as good, it's a significant drop off. At the very least bring back the old recipe in tandem.It's sad, they've been around, and been so good for so long and then, poof gone, who would have thought??

These are honestly horrible. America is in a health craze and I get why they did this. But seriously, they are cookies. I thought I had done something wrong the first time I made these because they were nasty. Then I made them again and saw that there is a different recipe.I hate wasting food but I seriously through the rest of them in the trash. Whoever is in charge of quality control and told you guys that this was a good idea is out of their mind. If we want healthy cookies we can go to an organic grocery store and buy healthy cookies. And there is no expectation of them to taste good.

Why change a good thing? I loved these cookies since I was a child but now they are gross. The flavor is different and my whole family won't eat it now because they don't like it. If I could give 0 stars I would. So disappointed with the product and the company. Please bring back the original!

I made the “new recipe” cookies last night. When I would make the “old recipe”,the cookies would disappear before I even had a chance to start the second batch...not so with the new ones!  My kids hated them, I hated them and for being a more “natural” recipe, they tasted bland - but more chemically than any other cookie that I have eaten.  They also left a weird film taste in my mouth!  Sorry but you lost a customer w/4 cookie loving kids...and if the kids refused to eat them leave a plateful, then you know they MUST be bad!! Would give 0 stars if I could

I grabbed these thinking it was just new packaging, when I cooked these (because the original recipe was our favorite!) my husband and I thought they were out of date. Went and looked and realized the date was fine but the recipe had changed. If you were trying to appeal to those who want a "healthy cookie" make it, but keep the original for those of us that want a good tasting cookie and not some rotten dough, foul tasting piece of garbage. The other tastes like it has gone bad and we will no longer be buying pillsbury products until the original recipe comes back.
