My husband and I were so looking forward to having cookies for dessert tonight. We were deciding between toll house and pilsbury scoop and bake and after a little coxing, I convinced my husband to get the Pillsbury against his wishes. I informed my husband that these are always the ones I get because they are the best! Unfortunately, I did not realize that it was a new recipe. I wish we went with the toll house.... this new recipe is awful. I do not understand why pilsbury would want to change their scrumptious chocolate chips! I will not buy them again. I am actually a little heart broken that I will never be able to taste my favorite cookies again. 

I bought these along with the peanut butter cookies and they were both awful. I feel like the ingredients are different than they used to be. These had a weird extract flavor and the chocolate didn't taste like real chocolate. maybe they were just a bad batch but I had 2 totally different flavors and both were terrible.

I’ve been eating Pillsberry chocolate chip cookies for a very long time and for long as I could remember I always pick out the chocolate chips. I am 37 years old and I still remove the chocolate chips from the cookies. Please create Pillsberry chipless chocolate chip cookies, your revenue Will go up tremendously please take my advice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great time saver verses making homemade. I made mine in the air fryer. They came out with browned edges and a soft center. You can cook longer to get a crispy cookie. I froze half for later. They freeze perfectly.

I would add that they are inexpensive to buy. I would highly recommend trying these delicious cookies. I really like these ready to bake chocolate chip cookies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I over cooked the first batch of this dough and made hard cookies but the second batch was delicious! Every oven is different but 12 minutes was too long for mine. My kiddos like the raw cookie dough which was nice to let them have a bite of. Would definitely buy again!

The previous reviewer *must* have purchased a bad batch, 'cause this is by far the BEST packaged cookie dough I've ever tried.  The cookies are rich, sinful gorgeosity incarnate -- just the right thickness and texture, TONS of delicious chocolate.  I can't say enough good about 'm!

I used to eat these cookies every single day (maybe not the best habit, but they were THAT good), until the recipe was changed. Ever since the ingredients were altered to make them “safe to eat raw”, I’m incredibly disappointed in the flavor and texture of these cookies. They are terrible for dipping in milk because they crumble and fall apart too easily, no matter how well they’re baked. The flavor is seriously lacking and they’re definitely not worth the calories anymore. I was a devoted pillsbury customer before the recipe change, but I’ll definitely be spending my money on another brand from now on, unless this company decides to listen to the multitude of recent negative customer reviews and return to the original cookie recipe. Please bring back the original cookies we’ve known and loved for years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough has been my go to for home baked cookies for years. They are easy to prepare and taste like scratch made every single time. My kids friends ask me to make cookies weekly. They love them.

My family and I have long been Pillsbury or die type of people but this new chocolate chip cookie dough recipe has got to go. On top of the slightly off flavor, they don't bake consistently and then when they cool they harden very quickly. Sadly we'll be buying another brand from now on, but hope to see the recipe change back so we won't have to continue to do so forever.
