Utterly baffled at the negative reviews. New recipe? Allegedly tasting of chemicals and non-chocolately goodness?? I have been eating these on and off for the past few years and I've never gotten a 'bad batch'. I am so taken aback by most of these reviews that I feel like they aren't even legit and possibly are just spam from a competitor to Pillsbury. That being said, these are among the most delicious cookies I've ever eaten, and definitely aim to acquire more of them in the near future. Seriously, either these other people are aliens, or they somehow managed to botch putting pre-made cookie dough onto a pan and putting it into the oven. Buy these, they're fine.

These are awful. You took s staple of childhood and ruined it. The texture is all wrong and the taste of just bad. We could never leave these for Santa. If you want to make a healthier option, go ahead but cookies are not about health, they are about memories, warmth, family, Christmas night, snow days. These cookies attend about any of those things. My entire family despised them. We prepared for a lovely family evening centered around making cookies and sharing stories, and were so disappointed. I wouldn't feed these to my dog. You just lost generations of cookie lovers here.

My husband went to the store just to get your cookies. We used to make them all the time. He made a batch and after trying them, we looked at each other and said they tasted funny. I asked him if he got the right ones. I pulled the label out of the trash and was disappointed to see it is a "new" recipe.  I would have sent in for the refund but he couldn't find the receipt. Won't be buying again. Please go back to the original.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is always a good product. Makes things quick when you need to bring something to a party or an event. Quick, easy, no fail! Have used this product for years! Never had a problem. Some people think I made the cookies from scratch!

The old recipe was absolutely perfect. This new recipe lacks so much pizzazz, it's sad. I'll gladly take the artificial preservatives, colors, flavors and high-fructose corn syrup if it means having the other recipe back! I understand that people want "healthy options" but there's no need to ruin what was a perfect cookie. Please take all of these reviews into consideration and do us all a favor to change it back.

Yes I’ve been a big fan of you chocolate chip cookies, I even boasted about it not too long ago to a friend of mine about how the dough is what separated you guys from other pre made cookies. The moment I saw the new recipe package though I knew it was goin to be the end. You can not improve on the best. I was willing to give it a try though. It was worst than I thought . Please go back to your old recipe or your going to keep losing customers

Very disappointed with new formula.  I bought a roll and thought something was wrong with it  so I threw it away. I bought another one yesterday.  It tastes just as bad. I loved the old ones. I have tried several recipes to try and duplicate your formula.   I usually make my cookies from scratch but loved the old formula better than scratch chocolate chip cookies. 

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The baking of the cookies was done by my granddaughter. She loves baking and wanted to contribute to our annual Mothers Day gathering. The cookies were great and when a 12 year old serves them up its even more special. The cookies looked good, tasted good, and Mt granddaughter felt good about her contribution in honoring mother, grandmother, sister, and cousins.

I made these for my sisters as a treat and they refused to eat them. My sugar-loving 8 year old sisters hated these cookies. I followed the instructions and the cookies seemed normal when I took them out of the oven but about ten minutes later they were as hard as rocks and crumbled to pieces when you bit into them. They taste horrible as well. I don’t recommend these and neither do my sisters. All of the cookie/brownie products are like this.
