My family and I have been a fan of Pillsbury for many years. Especially their cookies as special treats. I was genuinely very excited to see this new recipe being offered, as we generally tend to buy items that are only all national and/or organic. Unfortunately these cookies were BY FAR sub-par! The dough texture was like sand, they left a horrible and weird aftertaste, and they were hard as rocks a few minutes after baking. We will NOT be buying these again. There are currently many all natural and/or organic cookie options out there that are MUCH better than these. Hopefully Pillsbury can get this recipe right since they are such an amazing brand.

I made your Pillsbury™ Chocolate Chip Refrigerated Cookie Dough. It called for a temp of 350 degrees, As the last time I made them at this temp, they burned, I lowered the temp to 325. They were places in the center rack of the oven. This time half of the cookies burned and half were raw. I checked my oven and the temp is correct. Could there have been a problem with the recipe of the cookies?

I just want to say I am very unhappy with the new chocolate chip recipe. I understand the goal is to create a   "healthy" cookie but this new version is disgusting. My son and I are so disappointed, we loved making chocolate cookies, and getting a glass of milk and sitting by fireplace and watching movies. Perhaps you could bring the old recipe back and sell both. This way customers could have a choice of the cookie they preferred.

I love Pillsbury cookies, the price is always reasonable and the flavor is delicious. I cookies bake in a timely manner and can enjoyed straight out the oven. Well definitely buy again.

With this don’t I can make big huge fat cookies or small cookies I love that I have options for whatever the occasion calls for or how many people will be eating them.

I have made recipes with Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough for over five decades for my family including chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake bars. Why would you change a legend? If people want to eat raw cookie dough then sell this new recipe to them but please bring back the original recipe for your loyal customers who have kept you in business from the very first Pillsbury Dough Boy commercial. The Pillsbury Dough Boy would fall flat on his adorable tummy on this one and lose his hat. Another American icon hits the dust. Whoever made this decision must be from a younger generation and doesn’t have a clue about the longevity of decades and decades of Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie lovers history. Someone needs to tell them that if it isn’t broke then don’t try to fix it. Nestle here I come!

Do I have to give the dough a star? This new dough is Horrible with a huge capital H. Tasteless, no wonderful smell while baking, even looks different. This dough has been a family favorite for years, but no more, I will not buy this product again. I guess I will have to buy a different brand from now on. Or, hey, here's an idea, I could perfect my own recipe. Never again Pillsbury, you have lost a 20 year customer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The absolute best cookie dough we’ve ever tried. My kid noticed the “eat or bake” on the packaging and we haven’t baked it since. I pick it up every time we’re in the store and it never makes it to the oven. Love love love.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Didn’t really like them, I didn’t care for the taste, they were easy to just open and bake, but they didn’t just come apart as they say I have to use a knife to cut them before I could bake them. I only bought 1 package and I won’t buy any more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We baked the cookies the same day they were purchased. We love the chocolate chip dough. My son loves baking them. They come out moist and always delicious. We eat them warm with milk. Once they cool, they are equally delicious. Witnin 2 days, they are gone. I recommend this brand to everyone. As soon as I get back to the store, I will buy two.
