The last 2 logs tasted rotten and they were purchased from different stores. I think I may switch to nestle because the nestle brand because I’m guessing they changed ingredients or flavor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love Pillsbury cookie doughs. I find it doesn't make as many cookies as it states but then again I tend to make big cookies. They are so fast and easy and taste great. The ready to use is also great because you can make a few at a time or the whole roll. It's also tastes good when you mix the chocolate chip and the sugar cookie doughs together.

Good try, but you cannot improve on the original. The taste is off-putting, not just different. Many memories were made in my growing up AND my girls with this roll of refrigerated greatness. One of my favorite things, which had become standard operating procedure in this house is when the dough got home was the squishy end was cut off and split with whomever was in the room. Yes, raw. I live dangerously when there is cookie dough to be had. Correction, Pillsbury's recipe. The old one. Ugh, with this new taste, I am not even tempted anymore. Please go back. Or at least offer both. 

By far the best cookies I have made and eaten. I always look to have a package in my fridge. Everyone in my house hold calls me the cookie monster because every time I want something sweet or if they want something sweet, I always offer to make cookies from Pillsbury. Thank you for making a difference in my life and in my house hold. I hope everyone can experience the joy and satisfaction I get from eating these cookies. I would love to be sponsor by Pillbury as the cookie monster :-).

So EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to your loyal customers. BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL RECIPE!! I settled for buying from your competition (Toll house), they are not as good but definitely better than what you are trying to sell now.

I have never reviewed anything in my life before, and made an account specifically to leave this review. I was a loyal customer for 27 years, and has crushed my soul- SHAME ON YOU- SHAME! Ive boycotted for 2 years and still no hint to admit your mistake, just seeing that light blue case in the store makes me want to throw up (stocks are ALWAYS full too, no one buying). Please, I'm on my knees begging, change the recpie back. I hope God forgives you, because I cannot. 

I hate when companies decide what we ALL want.  If you want to appeal to the often roaring loud health fanatics then by all means make a cookie for THEM, BUT no one is chowing down on these cookies for the nutritional value but for the nostalgic taste you crave and always enjoy for as long as you can remember.  Please bring that recipe back, this one is not awful but defiently NOT Better!!! Sell the traditional to make our cheat days worth it and make a real low calorie one IF YOU MUST, that allows those who are really wanting that option to have one.   Pillsbury,  you didn't take into account that the majority of the world is not so health conscious,  the majority are over weight and obese because we love good food and we are often too unconcerned to blog about what others should eat UNTIL,  you mess with our favorite foods!!!  You listened to those that scream the loudest but not the ones who buy the majority of your products!!  #BRINGMYCOOKIESBACK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and his friend saw "Safe to Eat" on the package, and immediately began popping the raw chunks in their mouths. The good news was that I didn't need to heat up the oven. What was left fit on tray for the toaster oven! They were great. They had the taste of hot freshly baked cookies made from scratch, but without all the work and mess to clean up! I'm pick about my cookies. I don't like hard cookies, and I really don't like soft cookies. These were PERFECT! They crunched when bitten or broken, but hot and soft inside. They were exactly like the cookies sold in the stores that just sell cookies - really expensive cookie - only cookies. I've already purchased more. If I have to say anything negative, it would be that I need them sold in larger quantities! We went to the store, baked them and ate them in less than an hour!
