I don’t know how the cookies taste because the dough is so good I never want to wait to bake them! Oh my goodness, it’s a killer for me! My husband loves to make homemade ice cream, so I think we might try to crumble the cookie dough & throw it in this summer! I did divide into some smaller containers so I can pull out a small amount to keep in the fridge. I also bought a tube size of the sugar cookies that are similar to these that we did actually bake at Christmas & they were so good! I usually don’t like sugar cookies. But the safe to eat raw dough is a game changer. I never overbake my cookies anymore because I’m worried about getting them done. I pull them out early on purpose to make sure they are still soft & gooey.

Please go back to the original recipe.  This new one taste terrible.  They don't even smell good!  My kids and I could tell immediately when we pulled the cookies from the oven that something was wrong, the cookies didn't brown well and were overly puffy.  Please listen to your customers here and bring the original recipe back!  

I finally checked this website to see if others felt the same way about the new recipe. And although the Pillsbury response says that most responses are positive, it appears to be completely the opposite. Are these comments being fed to the correct people? People that can make things happen - like bringing back the old recipe? At the very least, please provide a choice between the two - new and original. Then let the consumers pick. I’d be surprised if sales of the new recipe out performed the original recipe. We miss the great tasting cookies. Please Pillsbury, give us a choice!

      For as long as I can remember, my family has been making Pillsbury chocolate chip cookies. They are my absolute favorite. As an adult, I admit I’ve tried other recipes but I’ve never liked any other chocolate chip cookies. When I saw the recent product change I trusted that it would be just as good as the original. Boy, was I ever wrong. They are AWEFUL!!! Seriously aweful!      My fingers are crossed that you will realize your mistake and restore our beloved cookie dough recipe OR at least hear the cries from your loyal customers and OFFER BOTH. PLEASE!!! Don’t take away one of my childhood connections to family, food, and fun times. Don’t take away the only chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever enjoyed!

My partner had been wanting chocolate chip cookies and this time of the year is rather busy for us. Instead of buying all the ingredients to make them by scratch I decided to try this cookie dough. Please note that on the lid of the cookie dough tub it states that it contains bioengineered food ingredients. By the time I read this the cookies were already in the oven. I expected them to taste like chemicals or something but NOPE they were so delicious!!! I'm really glad I bought this cookie dough...it is sooooooooo good!!! I almost wish they made it in a bigger tub! LOL I better get back to Sams Club and get more while they still have it in stock. I definitely recommend this product. Be warned...they are super addictive!!! :-)~~

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi My entire family loves these cookies, they are so soft, chewy and of course delicious. They are so easy to make and usually eat them quickly. They are also simple, easy for holidays to make as a dessert or snack. I have two kids, a husband and myself we all enjoy them. Perfect for a quick snack, simple dessert or for any parties or occasions. I’ve been buying these cookies for over 15 years and will continue too, as long as they are being made. The price is also reasonable for most people which is nice.. considering how prices have gone up. I don’t have any complaint’s because we love everything about them. Especially that it’s an easy clean up, no big messes!

When my daughter and I sat down to share a few cookies I took one bite and immediately got up and had to check the package.  I thought my husband might have accidentally bought the wrong kind or that they had expired or something.  :( I understand your company wanting to get on board the train towards organic and natural but for goodness sake why couldn’t you have come out with that as an alternative not a replacement for the classic!  You guys make so many dang cookies and I don’t buy ANY of them except the chocolate chip and we are highly disappointed in the new recipe.  Bring it back!!!  ASAP!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my go to, ready to bake cookies! Pilsbury has one of the best already made cookie doughs in my opinion. Doesn’t get much quicker and easier than putting these on a baking sheet and folding laundry until they are done! :)

Tried your new chocolate chip cookies and was very disappointed. The only positive thing I cam say is that they are better than Chips A Hoy ( and I can not stand those cookies ). If the new and the old recipe were on the shelf in the store I would NEVER buy the new. You have screwed up a good product. Fire the person that made this happen. I have always been a big fan of the old recipe. It was the only cookie that I liked.
