This product works the same as other salt products in my water softener. This salt is smaller and more natural, would probably make good ice cream as well or driveway salt in winter up north for those using salt as a de-icer.

Bought 6 they each got shipped in an individual box which seemed alittle over kill and 1 of the bags was open inside the box but other than that great value and easy

I had no issue with this item but now for some reason, Walmart has increased the price by more than 200%, at least what's that's what is showing up online.

Substantially cheaper with free delivery, than any other retailer without shipping. What’s with the insane price increases elsewhere? It’s puzzling why they box every bag, taking up wasted space in the delivery truck and your recycle or landfill.

Why don’t they make a 25 pound bag? I can’t carry 40 pounds anymore. 25 would be hard to handle but at least I could battle a little better with that.

I have mostly pvc piping, but a do have copper in the mechanical room. so I bought a humidifier and water softener. The salt does its' job and brings up the value of my home.

It’s hard to find crystals in the store, lately. I had 5 bags delivered. They came in individual boxes when delivered. I had to open them outside and carry them in by their bag handle. A lot of wasted cardboard from delivery!
