Bought this from Walmart home delivery with grocery's. It barely sticks to standard cardboard boxes. I can remove it easily from a box without tearing a layer of cardboard that you would expect. Worked for a wholesale distributor of construction supplies so was around packaging tape for 20 yrs there and have used packaging tapes all thru my life and I'm 65 now. Never seen anything like this tape... Clear to the core I guess because not much stickum.

Tape cuts cleanly and adheres tight on the box. I'll go with the Scotch Sure Start every time. 3M gave me the product free to evaluate.

The Scotch Packaging Tape did unwind quieter than other tapes but it was definitely not silent. Finding the beginning of this tape was a breeze. My favorite part was that it was easy to start and didn't get all tangled with itself. This was a first. This is how a packaging tape should be. I'll definitely buy this in the future.

First, what I like: the refillable plastic dispenser is superb. It's designed with little plastic tabs on either side, underneath the blade, so that after you cut off your preferred length of tape, the end of the tape no longer flops down on the roll, leaving you to have to turn the roll around and around until you find the start. Instead the tape is easier to get started and much easier to work with. I sell things online and ship them so having something that makes that process easier is a blessing.
