[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being familiar with their other shipping tapes, I was happy to evaluate Scotch® Sure Start Shipping Packaging Tape for free when 3M sent me a sample. The tape tears easily and quietly and doesn't fall back onto the roll leaving one to fumble to find the end. Additionally, the tape adheres well, so users can have peace of mind that their packages will remain securely sealed. In the past, I have made the mistake of purchasing discount brands, but the frustration (searching for the start of the roll after each tear, tape splitting, etc) is not worth it. 3M is the better option.

Being an avid online shopper I am constantly in need of packing tape to return items that didn't fit right or were damaged on arrival. This tape is perfect. True to the advertising it is easy to find the end each time and I didn't feel the need to fold it over for the next use. I had a plastic packing tape holder and tried this both on the holder and without. Of course the holder had a cutting tool on it which made the process even easier. This is not tape that you can tear with your bare hands - just like every other packing tape. It held well and did exactly what I needed it to!

The sure start is true to it's word and as expected the tape has good sticking and staying power. You can always count on Scotch! Love the sure start, love that it's on it's own cutter/roller as well. Overall 10/10. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's nothing worse, when you are packing a box, to lose that end of the tape and have to fiddle around - seemingly forever - to find the edge. With this product you don't have that problem. The tape edge is always there and easy to use. Another advantage is how it doesn't have that loud, ripping sound as the tape is rolled out, it's smooth and quiet. The cutting edge has not failed once, it tears off easily and evenly. The tape itself is, as all Scotch tape, excellent quality. It sticks and stays stuck. You know your boxes and packages will be securely closed when you use Scotch tape. I highly recommend this product.

I use to cover cracks near windows to keep out cold air. I use it when my window air conditioners are installed to make sure no air comes in the the AC's stay in place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 3M - Scotch® Sure Start Shipping Packaging Tape makes it easy to use for packaging boxes. The roll is easy to start, the tape stays in place and easy to glide over where I need to tape and removes and cuts off where I want to stop with a breeze. It's easy to start again because it leaves the tape in place to start taping again! The tape is pretty sturdy and durable, stays in place on the boxes and haven't need to double tape them since using this roll. I highly recommend the 3M - Scotch® Sure Start Shipping Packaging Tape. I received a sample to review and my opinions are my own.
