I buy this cheese then divide it all up by putting them in small freezer bags. Then I only take out what I need & put the rest in the freezer. I’ve been doing this for years and it’s also been cost effective. When I need another bag, I take it out of the freezer and put it in the refrigerator to thaw out.

I buy this bag of cheese all the time. I'm a cheese fanatic so every lunch or dinner dish I make always requires some cheese. The problem with this cheese is that if you leave it in the fridge it will get stale before it's due date. I always had that problem and would always end up having to toss this cheese out. So I decided to freeze the cheese! This has been the best method for me. I will try to keep the shreds broken up so when I need to get some I won't have to worry about having it to unthaw it a bit or to hit it with my rubber mallet if I have to. Sometimes I have to do the latter but I haven't had to throw my cheese away in a while!

Absolutely delicious cheese. Large quantity and absolutely great for making pizzas or other Italian items that need significant cheese. Shreds are larger than other cheeses. Will definitely look to buy again in the future.

Made a homemade spinach lasagna with the mozzarella. The cheese melted evenly and had a nice creamy cheese pull. Family loved the lasagna, the cheese added a great taste. Since it melted so evenly, we will be making quesadillas on the griddle next.

We use mozzarella in many things from salad toppings to recipes or to add some flair to just about anything. It's a healthy option with its lower fat contents. It melts readily and adds great flavor and texture.

Just feels and tastes fake. The threads are more like crumbles when you start adding it onto Pizza. I wish they would sell the 5 or 6 pound block/loaf so I can shred it the right way myself

This is a huge bag of cheese and it’s fantastic. I was worried it would go bad quickly but it’s as fresh as it was the day I got It. Best price around! If you’re looking to entertain a large group this is the best.

Great cheese. Perfect for tacos, quesadillas, philly cheesesteak, or anything your heart desires. I would recommend if your family uses a lot of cheese or if you are hosting a party! Can freeze and use as needed.

We buy this cheese all the time for dinners. From making pizzas to mostacciolli. This does melt. I would not say its a high quality italian cheese but it works for everyday dinners. No complaints from my family.

I really enjoyed this cheese. I was a little nervous to get such a big bag but I was able to freeze some and share with friends. Ive been using it in salads, casserole dishes and mac and cheese! Its very creamy and melts perfectly in every meal!
