Some big clumps of cheese in every bag I've purchased meaning you have to work to get it to fall apart, but aside from that, it's lower in carbs and tastes great!

Good value but, this cheese does not melt well! The grate is too coarse making it difficult to control the amount used especially on pizza. I hope Sam’s will bring back the 5 pound block it was much better, it sliced and shredded excellent melted perfectly and the flavor was great, a little more work to prepare but more than worth it.

Wow! Who knew all mozzarella was not created equal! My fam of 7 makes homemade pizzas on occasion for dinner and this large bag worked just right instead of buying several smaller bags at a local grocery store. A little goes a long way and it melts soooo nicely and even browns a little too. This was the best our pizzas came out! Didn’t know we were missing out! This is our go-to cheese now! Happy to hear it freezes well, because I’ll be trying that too.

I've been buying the Stella block cheese from Sam's for 9 years. I own a pizza restaurant. We shred our own cheeses. This pre-shredded cheese is rubbery, and does not cover pizzas well, making us use too much. It is like pellets and does not melt evenly, even at 495 degrees. We tried blending it with other cheese and the texture is not good. It is so disappointing that Sam's claims to be there for business owners, but I find it is more geared for bulk buying for the public. Every time I turn around they are changing or discontinuing items that we have used for years. Bad for business. I can name at least 10 items we can no longer get there. Please bring back the blocks. We were buying them by the case several times a week.

Used for holiday to make lasagna, ziti and cheese toast. Product is fair priced for what you are getting. Rumors state that shredded cheese isn't the best, and I have not yet understood that reason. I will say for making a large amount of food and trying to be in a production smart way, this is the easiest to use. Price is fair, however, with many sales in local stores it was very comparable.

Cheese doesn’t melt easily. Need whole milk mozzarella!!
