The flavor is not too heavy or salty, with a thick rich texture that plays well with food. My favorite way to eat it is to sprinkle some on steamed Chinese broccoli.

The sodium content is a little high so don’t resalt or use a lot of soy with it. This makes stir fry and beef and broccoli absolutely divine.

We tried to find a recipe that incorporated a tiny amount of oyster sauce, but it was still too fishy for me. However, my husband liked the sweetness of it and wasn’t as turned off by the fish taste.

As far as oyster sauces go, this is amazing. It’s thick, salty, and you really get the taste of the oysters. I poured some over some flank steak and it adds just the perfect touch of saltiness to it. The bottle is half written in Mandarin and half English, so you won’t have a problem knowing exactly what is in it. Oyster sauce is NOT for everyone but if you do enjoy it, this is really as good as it gets. It’s a high quality product and you can’t go wrong diving into a bottle of this brand’s signature sauce.

I used it to make garlic noodles since it requires oyster sauce. I like that it comes in a small bottle compared to other large ones - it makes it easier to store in the fridge.
