On its own I don’t think I like it, but I did add some to a chicken recipe and it added an interesting flavor to the dish. The texture is very smooth almost like any salad dressing. The packaging is very nice.

We then made a shrimp and broccoli stir fry using this oyster sauce. It was delicious! We like the savory oyster flavor. Great in a stri fry.

I could not have been more pleasantly surprised! I tested this out by using it to marinate flank steak for two hours. It pairs really well with meat and gives it the right amount of saltiness while still giving it a slightly sweet touch that is subtle and not overbearing. This bottle will last for quite a few meals so at the 10 dollar price point it really is worth the price. It comes with quite a bit of sodium but that is expected of any oyster sauce. The consistency is nice and thick compared to other oyster sauces on the market. Overall, I would highly recommend this to give your dishes a nice oriental touch!

This was my first time trying Oyster sauce and I put it on an Asian chicken dish that did not have sauce on it already. I liked the flavor, it was tangy and salty but it was not like a fish sauce or soy sauce. A little went a long way in my opinion and was a bit overpowering. It has a lightweight bottle and I would try another Lee Kum Kee bottled sauce as I don’t think Oyster sauce was for me.
