[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the set out of necessity, but I'd been hearing about the quality of LG for some time. Honestly, the price was also a deciding factor. We've been very pleased with the performance. It was quite an adjustment mentally because of all the features like adjustment and balancing loads. To sum it up, it works like a charm.

For that reason I felt good about purchasing the base LG washer for a rental property. This machine doesn’t clean. I have pulled clothes out with not just stains but actual dirt still there. Very unhappy wouldn’t recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have no control over adding more water. All cycles should have hot water. Heavy duty cycle is way too long. My clothes were way more white. If I knew how this machine worked prior to buying it it would not. The dryer is nice. I quinge when it’s laundry time.

My old washer died after giving me 42 YEARS of faithful service! I would have repaired it, but they no longer make parts for it. That forced me to buy a new machine. I'm a big fan of great LG products and have been for many years. But THIS washer is the exception to the rule! The first load of laundry I did, I used the "Normal" cycle. There was not enough water in that tub to even thoroughly wet all the clothes! I had thrown a scoop of OxyClean in and when the clothes came out, they had OxyClean all over them! I had to re-wash the entire load and wound up using the "Deep fill" cycle in order to get enough water to even do the load. Such a DISAPPOINTMENT.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG washer is a great appliance. I only wish it had a 'soak' feature but I've worked around that. It has had to have a repairman out twice for the top loader door noise but doesn't affect the mechanics of it. The second repair will be made 7/18/24 so hopefully that will be the end of the 'snapping noise' that I feared may eventually be a bracket break. It's quiet-a major plus-runs smooth.

Our machine is 6 months old and we are pleased with its operation. WE did have some problems at the outset but they were resolved by the LG agent. If you push the hood lock button the washer will not operate any function. This was covered in the manual but possibly not explicit enough. The other problem was caused by the installer by not leaving enough slack in the hose.

Very sad with how loud it is. When you live in an apartment building, you don’t want it loud every time you do laundry. It sounds like a jetliner taking off when it goes into rinse and drain mode. I also had a rubber hose on my old machine and when they replaced it with the new hoses, they gave me a flexible plastic hose so I think that adds to the noise, also it doesn’t fill up with enough water. Also, I was told I would be able to operate it from my phone. Once I got home, it tells me this machine is not compatible. Overall, I am very disappointed, For an LG, I expected much more! I do love the see-thru top!

Just had this delivered. Got to washing the first load only to find that it doesn't have a Soak Cycle. What? What Washing machine doesn't have a way to soak your clothes? I mean really? Also, the issue with enough water to cover the clothes is true. Seriously. No way to add water either. What a piece of junk. (LOL, their profanity filter recognizes three letter acronyms).

Got this machine for my Mom. She loves how quiet it is and easy to use, however she is 5'2" tall and cannot reach all items out of this machine. She uses a step stool to get laundry out. SO if you or someone you know is short or uses a wheel chair they will need assistance to remove items after they have been washed.
