This washer I bought one week ago, and it is a life changer, I love the different cycles, and all my clothes have washed great so far. It’s important to note if you have a full load maybe to select deep wash. Best washing machine I have had in my lifetime. Remember to also remove the tray if your using powder soap. I have loaded large blankets/comforters and they have cleaned completely well. Great cycles and easy to operate. Very quiet, with a nice tune at the end of the cycle so you know your wash is complete.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought by buying an LG I would get a nice machine. But it’s extremely loud. They gave me a plastic hose and removed my rubber hose. It does have a very nice drum. It doesn’t fill up with water correctly. Don’t recommend.

I brought this a few months ago and have had nothing but problems with it. only used it a few times as it takes forever to wash clothes. After about 7 washes had to call it in to try to fix what was wrong. They gave me trobleshooting instructions over the phone, which took way to long and did not fix the problem. It's a brand new washer and should not be having problems. I wish We had bought a different brand. To many issues. and still not working right.

THIS WASHER IS TERRIBLE. I HAVE USED THE WASHER LESS THAN 10 TIMES AND THE TEMPERATURE SENSOR IS MESSED UP IN THE WASHER. CALLED TO GET THE WASHER EITHER REPAIRED OR GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. TECHNICAN CAME TO THE HOUSE AND THE PART IS UNAVAILABLE. HAD TO WAIT 48 HOURS TO FIND OUT THEY STILL WILL NOT GIVE ME AN AUTHORIZATION TO GET MY REFUND TO FIND OUT THE PART IS AVAILABLE THEY SAY (I DON'T BELIEVE IT) ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 24-48 HOURS FOR SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME TO GET THE REPAIR COMPLETED. I SPENT MY HARD EARNED MONEY TO PURCHASE A WASHER THAT HAS BEEN USED LESS THAN 10 TIMES. I AM GETTING THE RUN AROUND FROM LG BECAUSE THEY DON;T WANT TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. THEY WANT ME TO WAIT ALL THIS TIME AND IT IS FRUSTRATING. NOBODY HAD TO WAIT THIS LONG TO GET MY MONEY! A BRAND NEW WASHER SHOULD NOT BE HAVING SUCH ISSUES!!!!!!

I have never hated an appliance before, but here we are. This machine is maddening. Even when you manage to get a usable amount of water into it (you'll have to learn some work-arounds) the agitator still doesn't pull the clothes from the back toward the agitator and down to the floor. Instead however the clothes are loaded, is the same way they'll come out. In other words, there is no cycling of the clothes from top to bottom. So whatever is next to the agitator gets all the action, whatever is against the drum just gets sloshed back and forth a little. Even on the deep wash cycle, I've seen clothes against the drum that don't get fully wet. This is the most over-engineered piece of junk I've ever had the misfortune to purchase.

I got the 4.1 cu ft top load washer March 2024. I am NOT happy with it. On all modes except Deep Fill the water is 1-2 inches deep and does not cover the clothes! The clothes will not get clean if water and soap do not cover the clothes. The clothes won't get clean if they're dry on the top of the load. I understand it's supposed to use less water, but not this low! Everyone who sees it or I tell about it agree, not enough water!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having my old washer and dryer for over 15 years it was time to upgrade to new machines. I love my new grey set of LG appliances. My clothes look cleaner and fresher. The little tune signaling the cycle is over is like music to my ears. The dryer works quietly and efficiently as well. I highly recommend LG!

I like this washer so far. The pros are that it is quiet, has a good balancing system, and you can wash a lot in one load. The cons are I dislike the normal setting, just not enough water to properly wash the clothes. So I have learned to use the Heavy Duty or the Deepwash. I have only had it a few months so can't comment on durability.

My biggest beef is that this model is supposed to save water, but it only gives you two options: "wash" your load, regardless of its size, with 2.5 gallons of water, or choose Deep Fill which fills the tub up entirely. There are no middle options. Apparently smart technology means taking away options from us dumb consumers. The result is that most loads of laundry will not even get wet, much less clean, if you try to wash it with 2.5 gallons of water. Or, every load will use the maximum amount of water. Consequently, small loads quickly turn into large loads just so you don't feel like you're wasting the full tub of water. There is no middle ground and absolutely no logic here. It is as if this machine was designed by people who still have their mothers doing their laundry, and have never washed a load in their life. Watching the machine agitate perfectly dry clothes as if it is doing anything constructive, is just sad. If a refund or exchange were possible, I'd take it in an instant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the set out of necessity, but I'd been hearing about the quality of LG for some time. Honestly, the price was also a deciding factor. We've been very pleased with the performance. It was quite an adjustment mentally because of all the features like adjustment and balancing loads. To sum it up, it works like a charm.
