Superb picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a former TV commercial and program producer, picture quality has always been important to me. The Samsung 65” is clearly superior. I was amazed at the 4k upconversion of older programs. I watched an I Love Lucy episode and saw details that gave the impression of a live camera production! The Samsung was purchased for a downstairs living room in a basement apartment. Im considering replacing other big screens in my home!

Great tv Until...

Nice tv, But, really poor instruction/owner booklet..there isn't one. Just a poor quality 2 sheets of thin, small print paper with very vague and minimal instructions, I bought this tv Nov 23 and now notice in the picture screen on the bottom has a defect that looks like something inside the screen is melting.. And the option here won't let me

Great picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung 60in tv is wonderful. The blacks are crisp and the colors are very realistic . The backlight is perfect. Extremely easy to hook up my buds 3. The motion and picture on this TV is very realistic. Extremely happy with my Samsung 60in television.

Execllent TV for functionality and pix quality

Purchased 6 months ago, easy to install, excellent picture, good size for living room...attached external amp via optical. USB ports all work well, price is excellent for the functionality...remote took some getting used to but found how to use via UTube

Just ok bcuz of remote controls.

So far so good except for the remote controls. They are the the worst I’ve ever encountered. I can’t ‘feel’ the points of contacts - can’tvsense if I’ve successfully pushed the button or not. Bought all three tv’s the same day - had O known how awful the remotes are I’d think twice.

Great Picture/Sound Problems

we bought this for our anniversary in May of 2024. Everything was great with the beautiful picture and the great sound until about 4 months after we bought it. Then suddenly, in the middle of a show we are watching, the sound will turn off completely. We have tried everything. The only thing we can do with this smart "alec" TV is to turn the whole thing off, and turn it on again, and then find out way back to our show. Sometimes we have to do that several times before the sound comes back on. Ridiculous!

There are a few troubleshooting steps I recommend trying: 1) Please check the volume control of your TV, and then check the volume control of any external devices (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between any external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again. 2) Set Sound Output to the TV Speaker by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Output. 3) Check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto. Not completely satisfied.

My spouse bought this several months ago Khe thought we needed a bigger screen)& so far have not been completely satisfied. Not enough ports on back of TV: No port for external sound system we used on old TV, so spouse bought complete new external speakers (extra expense). Cable box uses 1 HDMI port. DVD player uses 2nd HDMI port. No ports for WII game console. Had to purchase a converter to HDMI & then have to unplug either the cable box or the DVD player to plug game consoles in. External antenna port only tunes 1 channel at a time. Have to perform a new search each time we want to watvch a different channel from the external antenna. (Same external antenna used on old TV which scanned in 14 different channels at one time) Can't figure out how to use the the streaming channels preprogrammed on TV. (Not user friendly for senior citizens) If it was up to me I would have returned this TV & used the old one we had until it croaked.

Not a great purchase!

Bought this a few weeks ago for my mom. The remote is a joke. You can't control the volume other than mute it and there's not even an input button. I find this TV not very user friendly. Had to buy a Roku with a better remote for her to work it correctly. Picture quality seems decent.

To mute the sound, press the button. You can also learn how to use your remote directly from your TV. Just go to Home> (left directional button) Settings> Support> Remote Control Guide. Crystal UHD is a MUST have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have always been huge fans of Samsung products, we have been wanting to upgrade our family TV for quite some time now but didn’t really want to rush into buying just anything, UNTIL we saw this Samsung tv - 85” crystal UHD while out shopping and we knew that this tv was the one. It did not disappoint! It’s very clear and you can certainly tell it’s a high def., smart tv. We love it! We find ourselves having more family time watching movies. Thank you Samsung
