Fantastic Picture

I purchased my first 55” a couple of years ago as a gift to my niece. I was drawn to it because of the dozens of TV’s on display the clarity and definition really stood out. I purchased a 65 and another 55” recently for my home. The picture is simply astounding. It far outpaced the competitors QLED TV’s. I have recommended Samsung to friends and neighbors. They were all pleased with the quality and value.

I bought this to use as a monitor for my Geochron

I bought the 55" Class Crystal UHD DU7200D to use primarily as a monitor connected to my Geochron Atlas 4k. It works very well for this purpose as well as a normal "Smart" TV. When first turned on it comes up on the channel selection screen and takes a minute or so to switch automatically to the HDMI input. I really wish the remote had a number keypad. I find it disappointing that TV manufactures are removing this simple feature.

very poor remote

I bought this about two weeks ago and have regretted it from day one. I can't say very much about the tv portion as it is not as good as the tv I had but dropped it and cracked the screen so I needed a new tv. I talked to a sales member who said that Samsung is a good brand so I bought one. The tv is all right. Can't really say anything good or bad. The problem is with the remote. I do not know why manufactures want to change something that works. I will be boxing mine up and taking it back.

Good TV

I’ve been using this 55-inch TV for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with its performance. The picture quality is outstanding—sharp resolution, vibrant colors, and deep contrast make both movies and sports look fantastic. The size is perfect for a living room or larger bedroom, offering an immersive viewing experience without overwhelming the space. The built-in smart features work smoothly. Apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video load quickly, and the user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. I also appreciate the voice control remote—it makes searching for shows so much easier. Sound quality is decent for a flat-screen TV, though adding a soundbar would really elevate the experience. Setup was simple and only took about 15 minutes from unboxing to watching. Overall, this TV offers great value for the price. If you're looking for a reliable 55-inch screen with modern features and a sleek design, this one is definitely worth considering.

NO MULTI VIEW, NOT HAPPY!!!

It's a great TV but it doesn't have the multi view option which had I known this it would have played a big part in my purchasing this model. It does not have any multi view or split screens option which is very disappointing. It has all these features but is missing this important one which would be great for sports fans as myself to watch multiple games at the same time. Would have been great on such a big screen!! :(( Also, the remote is horrible!! Why would you make the volume and channel buttons like this!

Easy Installl & Set Up

It's been three months now and I'm completely satisfied with my purchase,. It's as easy to install and set up. The picture quality is crisp and clean. Only downside is when adding streaming channels it prompts you to save it on home screen, if you miss that, then it doesn't appear until you do a search

Great picture but not very senior-friendly remote

I bought the Samsung 65" Class Crystal UHD DU7200D as a Christmas gift for my 80-year-old mom, and overall, we’re really happy with the purchase. The picture quality is stunning—bright, crisp, and vibrant—and the sound is clear, which is a big plus for her since she doesn’t like using external speakers. It’s a big upgrade from her older Samsung, and she loves watching her shows on the larger screen. However, I had to take off two stars because she's having a hard time learning to use the remote control. The newer remotes are sleek and minimal, but for seniors, the lack of labeled buttons and the different navigation style is a real challenge. She misses her old Samsung remote, which had more direct channel buttons and was easier for her to understand. I’m wondering if Samsung offers any alternative remote options that are more senior-friendly, or if there’s a way to program an older-style remote to work with this TV? It would make a huge difference in her experience, as she currently relies on me or someone else to switch channels for her. If you're buying this TV for a senior or someone who isn't tech-savvy, keep in mind that the remote might take some getting used to—or you may need to look for a compatible universal remote that’s easier to use.

It’s not recognizing my initial set up. Says I don’t have an account. I’m just having to use my fire stick and Amazon prime. Can’t get help when I call. I had to create whole new account and it wants to charge me again for what I’m already paying. Crazy

Execllent TV for functionality and pix quality

Purchased 6 months ago, easy to install, excellent picture, good size for living room...attached external amp via optical. USB ports all work well, price is excellent for the functionality...remote took some getting used to but found how to use via UTube

Ten outta ten this tv does it all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only complaint I have is, that it doesn't have a power button on the TV itself. Other than that, the picture is crisp and sharp with vivid colors. The sound is incredible, it somehow manages to sound like your in a theater. Hands down the best TV I've owned. Highly recommend.
