Samsung TV

I purchased this tv about 3months ago and thought I was having difficulty changing channels, looking at guide was just the “ learning curve”, but no! This has to b the most difficult tv made. When using “ guide” it races through channels , when selecting a channel manually it add numbers , have to exit and start over, etc…don’t try to switch between sports games quickly you cannot. ridiculous, several tried to use tv but have same issues, Too late to return to store- going to throw out.

Living room TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is set in my living room and it's perfect for movies, Xbox games with its built game mode. The TV is easy to stream to via wifi and also responds fast to other connections like Bluetooth headphones. The colors are clear and vibrant. The black colors could be deeper but, honestly, they aren't bad at all. The TV speakers aren't great but I use a sound bar for audio so the TV speakers are never used anyway. Overall, this is a great and affordable TV. I enjoy using it daily.

Sound/Audio Issue.

We've had the Samsung TV since June 2024. The picture is very good. We've had some trouble with the audio/sound. When changing channels, sometimes the sound "pops" and we lose sound on the new channel. If we turn the TV off for a few seconds and turn it back on, the sound returns to normal. I plan to call Samsung customer/technical service to discuss this issue the next time we experience the problem.

I’m really enjoying this product

Great addition to our home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV was purchased to replace another Samsung TV we had for over 10 years. Excited to add it to our Master Bedroom area as the main focus piece in the room. With a 55" display, it can be seen from all areas in the room. We are very pleased with the picture and sound quality. Really like the new technology advacements that Samsung has put into their products. Now we can control the device with our smartphone. This is a great feature since we often get busy and forget to turn the unit off when leaving the room.

Execllent TV for functionality and pix quality

Purchased 6 months ago, easy to install, excellent picture, good size for living room...attached external amp via optical. USB ports all work well, price is excellent for the functionality...remote took some getting used to but found how to use via UTube

poor remote design, your tech department stinks!

You smart remote is a joke! The thing is too complicated to use. A person with large fingers, most senior citizens and our grandchildren hate the design. The "ring" is so touchy that if not touched exactly it takes you some where else! Do you have a regular remote that will work? Also, I have a Samsong A10 cell phone that worked perfectly until the TV was set up. Now many feathers on the phone do not work Says Cloud, Google is constantly closing and I cannot access the camera and storage is closing. Spectrum said call your tech department which I have done 3 times and each time your tech hangs up! .

Great picture and sound with Samsung Sound Bar too

This HDTV exceeded our expectations for a clear picture at a reasonable price. Add an extra star if you have a Samsung DVD player and Samsung soundbar ! The Samsung soundbar integrates with the Samsung TV speakers for an even better overall sound stage. I was thrilled to hear it. The Samsung DVD player when turned on immediately turns on the television and sets the input to it. Likewise when turning off or on again.

Somewhat disappointed

I bought this unit based on a previous Samsung 40 inch tv that we purchased some 8 years ago. The picture quality of the old unit was quite a bit better than the new one. 23 steps to the left or right of center and the picture fades considerably. Didn’t have that issue with the old one. But the price was very good.

I have a few recommendations that may improve your visual experience: Go to Home > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching. Almost perfect, almost.

Great, love the TV. I would give it 5 stars but I can because the app store is missing some pretty big apps. I had to buy a fire stick just so I could watch football on the NFL app. I don't understand how the biggest tech company in the world doesn't have access to all of the biggest apps. Other than that I love the TV especially the new remote.
