What companion

I am. I was, and I believe, I always will be happy with Samsung Tv. my last Smart Tv lasted me 10 years I think, or close to that. However, one must remember that, as I am retired. I used to turn it on just for company. Then, it died. So, I bought another one. Thank you, Samsung, you are good viewing and good company.

Not that happy with this tv.

We've always liked Samsung products. This time, we bought a 65 inch crystal screen tv. The picture is great. However, the sound has to be turned up high (35-50, or more) to comfortably listen to. Movies are much worse. I learned that the volume limit is 100. We've had in the high 80s for movies. I'm very disappointed in this aspect.

Hi noteableburn, Thank you for sharing your experience with low volume. There are several volume features you can adjust, which may improve your audio experience. 1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume. 2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound. 3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode. Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might need to be set higher. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again. I hope this helps improve your audio experience. Great TV - No Digital Audio

Great Picture. I love the Samsung for the Samsung TV - It's like most of what's on cable and a lot of streaming for free. I'd give it 5 stars but I'm really tired of manufacturers removing choice, in this instance where'd the digital/optical audio out go? Bluetooth has latency and quality issues.

Bad Quality

I bought it Over a year ago. Returned it because it was having some glitchy problems. They gave me a new one, the box was already open. And the problems were worse. I should’ve brought it back. It’s just the kitchen TV so I didn’t bother. Problems every single time I Try to rewind it. And started again

Great Samsung TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family has not purchased a TV in many years. Our old TV that were replacing was one of the first LED Samsung and has been excellent since we purchased it. So certainly I wanted to take a look at the newer Samsung and what they had to offer. And comparing to other brands, the Samsung that we chose offered just as good or if not better quality enhancements for TV viewing and pleasure. We purchased a new house and certainly had space for a nice 65 inch TV. We’ve had the TV for about a month and I’m extremely pleased. The overall picture quality is excellent and the sound quality is a lot better than I expected. The ease of use and instructions was very helpful and setting up this TV. I do like the Wi-Fi smart TV enhancement. You don’t have to see wires to actually watch TV. This has been a good purchase for our family and the T.V. has been exceptional

Great TV, horrible remote

The TV is great, but I really dislike the remote. It's so thin and light it ends up falling off soft surfaces like the bed and couch. It doesn't have many buttons so you have to toggle through a lot to get somewhere. Our other two Samsung tvs have the same remotes now this one is totally different.

I’m thinking it’s nothing special

I bought three TVs about two years ago. They are all good but I can’t stand the fact that they don’t stay on the channel I put them on. They always revert to a show called Runway, I can’t stand that show. For this reason alone I will shop for a TV that stays on the channel I choose next time.

great features, but disappointed, no optic outlet

this tv was a gift from out kids for Christmas. what a wonderful and unexpended surprise!! putting the tv together to hang on the wall was easy but took a couple of people to help lift it on the wall stand. when we went to hook up my husbands sound box for his hearing aids, we were very surprised to find that there was no optic outlet on the back to do this, and so he is unable to use his remote to control the volume for his hearing aids!! we wish we would of looked at the back for that feature first, so that maybe we would of taken this model back and got a different one with that feature. he misses it.

Great TV but bad remote control

The TV itself is great, images are sharp, and colors are brilliant, however, the remote control is not as user friendly as the old Samsung remotes. I especially dislike the up and down toggle to change volume and the channels. I prefer a larger remote with the push button features which are so much easier to use.

Looks good and uses less power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very bright picture. Has multiple input options. Has mice appearance even when off. Has options to use various methods for stands and supports. Slim remote looks more modern. Price was reasonable. Packing job was very good. Overall a great deal.
