Never to old to learn

Not what I expected

I bought this DU7200 75 inch a couple weeks ago. All reviews were good is the reason I bought it. Didn't realize it is a very entry level TV. I can't connect my older Bose system to it or my new Bose sound bar because it doesn't have optical or rca connections. I did connect the sound bar via Bluetooth just to find out the sound does not sync with the picture. I even bought an audio converter only to find out it wouldn't work either. wish I had kept my older Samsung that worked perfectly. I just wanted a larger tv. Lesson learned on my part that what seems to be good is not always what you get.

Hi Never to old to learn, Thank you for purchasing the Samsung DU7200 TV. To address the audio delay, you may want to try the Audio Pass-Through feature. This feature allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external Soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external Soundbar or receiver then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay. To activate this feature, go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > set to Pass-Through. It’s not recognizing my initial set up. Says I don’t have an account. I’m just having to use my fire stick and Amazon prime. Can’t get help when I call. I had to create whole new account and it wants to charge me again for what I’m already paying. Crazy

Great picture, but other issues exist

I purchased this TV a few weeks ago. There was no user manual and that is very disappointing. I don't have 'cable', I use a convertor box for watching TV. I got it hooked up the first day with a few issues, but it has been working fine until last night. In the middle of watching a game head into overtime, no less, the TV stopped recognizing the convertor box connection. I keep trying to get it back, but it is frustrating. On the other hand, the picture is awesome, the connect to internet works great so I can watch Peacock and Hulu, but so far, I don't really use the other features. I can't seem to adjust the volume and that is a huge irritation. I did download the manual, but it seems to be a million pages and I would really like just an easy nuts and bolts user guide to hooking up. How do I watch basic over the air TV? Like PBS, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and others? Am I gonna miss the Super Bowl tomorrow???

Not happy at all

When I bought this tv I was very disappointed with the multi function remote and it's abysmal instruction sheet. My Netflix account is set up through Roku so it would not let me sign in to Netflix ,because it did not support Roku. I really disliked that remote! It also has no audio outputs except for a USB port. I could not connect my soundbar to it. I have returned the tv to were I bought it.

Great addition to our home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV was purchased to replace another Samsung TV we had for over 10 years. Excited to add it to our Master Bedroom area as the main focus piece in the room. With a 55" display, it can be seen from all areas in the room. We are very pleased with the picture and sound quality. Really like the new technology advacements that Samsung has put into their products. Now we can control the device with our smartphone. This is a great feature since we often get busy and forget to turn the unit off when leaving the room.

Remote Control Stinks

The remote control for this TV is a pin in the rear. Labeled as a "smart remote," it is anything but. Starting off with the fact that there are no numbers for channel selection, it is not easy or convenient to use. Much of the utility of this remote lies within the main wheel. This "wheel" is quite sensitive to exactly where you touch it. I DO NOT LIKE THIS REMOTE. The old Samsung remote controls were much better.

Great resolution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is great choice ,and one of the drawbacks in my opinion is the controler itself missing some of the command prompts when pressed. The other is connectivity issues with the Smart Things App.

Would definately recommend and buy again!

Time to upgrade the bedroom TV, so went a little large and glad I did. Colors, sound and features are what make this TV stand out. I'm very happy with this TV and it's my second Samsung. I would have given it 5 stars, but the setup was a little on the wonky side and I had to call to re-set everything and start from scratch.

Easy Installl & Set Up

It's been three months now and I'm completely satisfied with my purchase,. It's as easy to install and set up. The picture quality is crisp and clean. Only downside is when adding streaming channels it prompts you to save it on home screen, if you miss that, then it doesn't appear until you do a search

New Choice

I was uncertain of the brand of TV to purchase. I knew the size I wanted, but with all the choices I was a bit lost. My prior TV was a Sony that I was very pleased with. I am not certain what drew me towards Samsung, but I am pleasantly surprised. Time will tell.
