[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved the opportunity to try the Hoover PowerScrub XL+ carpet cleaner and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. My carpets and couches have never looked cleaner. This machine was so easy to use and the 8ft hose made cleaning my furniture a breeze!! I only had to change the water once for all four of my carpeted rooms and furniture which would be about 5 refills of clean water and solution in my old carpet cleaner. Some of the spots on my carpet near the door and high traffic areas have been there for a long time and I was very pleased that the Hoover PowerScrub XL with its counter rotating brushes removed those set in stains!! I am very happy with the fast drying feature as well. All around this is the best carpet cleaner I have ever used.

This has great suction power and very quick dry time. I feel set in stains still need to be pre treated. This is the first and only shampooer that hasn't plugged up with pet hair, i have 3 cats and 1 dog. Love the floaty ball that let's you know when dump tank is full. Has two sittings quick clean and deep clean. Has separate clean and dirty water tanks. Heat force makes it the best, I have owned 4 shampooers in the last 20 years.

This has worked great for getting all the mess cleaned up quickly and easily, without leaving anything behind. This even works great in the litter room where there were stains that I never thought would come out were able to be cleaned with ease using this carpet cleaner. It's perfect for large or small areas and can be used on furniture too! I highly recommend this cleaner! The HeatForce helps make it dry much quicker than any other cleaner I've ever used too, which is a feature I now don't know how I lived without until now.

I love the scent of the cleaner it came with. This is definitely a must for homes with animals! It even worked on our linoleum kitchen floors.

This is not a good combination however the Powerscrub with cleaner managed to get all the vomit stains and regular foot track marks while leaving a pleasant smell. It's also very light weight. I used it on my stairs and with the extension hose it was very easy to maneuver. I would definitely recommend to purchase.

The instructions are very simple and clear. The tanks are lightweight and easy to get in and out. The best part is the dry feature, my favorite part, that cuts the time it takes to dry in half. I love this machine. I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Powerscrub XL+Carpet Cleaner by Hoover looks really nice just sitting there. It's easy to use. It has 5 spinning and scrubbing brushes that lift even the toughest stains out of carpet and upholstery. It also has heatforce to aid in drying. The TruMax tank technology keeps you from having to empty the tank so often while cleaning so you can quickly go from room to room cleaning carpets. I cleaned the carpets of 3 rooms and it took about an hour to do everything including dry time but I did run a fan on it to help dry quicker. The upholstery tool makes it simple to go from cleaning carpets to cleaning your couch or chair if needed. I've used several carpet cleaners over the years and this is by far the best in cleaning and dry time. I would definitely buy this again and recommend to friends and family.

While using it I did notice that it's very maneuverable, brushes in my opinion could be a little stiffer, and best of all you can see your progress as you go! Clean out of the containers were also super easy. Plus, the brush head and the nozzle came off for an easy clean up as well with a brush cleaner! The carpet cleaner it comes with was enough for one whole room or 3 gallons of treatment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At this point in time I would actually give the vacuum a 3.5/5 stars if that was an option. Three is too low, four is too high. I've had a week or so to use it on my rugs and carpeting. Here are my thoughts: First off, the cleaning solution seems to work pretty well. There are stains in places that have been there for months and they were cleaned with relative ease. Speaking of ease though: Going over the carpet (or rug) slowly and deliberately is the best way to go. If you go too quickly you'll risk the solution spilling. So you need to take your time going over your cleaning area. My biggest critique? Definitely the noise. It is a very loud vacuum. In fact, I used it one day and my neighbor was out raking at the time. The next day I ran into her and she commented on the loudness of the vacuum. Not really complaining, just in a passing way. So just be prepared. It's a bit overwhelming at first. Lots of different features and different ways to use the vacuum. In time I'll get used to them all. Good at lifting stains, but loud and cannot be moved too quickly or else solution will leak out.

The assembly was pretty easy and I love that there is a pouch for the additional brush with a hose for smaller areas and a cleaning solution bottle that come with it. The cleaning process is quite easy as well, the cleaner disperses and sucks up the water with cleaning solution quickly and efficiently! It's quite hard to see how dirty my carpet is because of its color and texture, but after running this cleaner over one spot several times the water turned out very dirty (I added a photo), so the cleaner definitely does the job I didn't even know I needed done! It takes a little time for the carpet to dry, so I tend to not clean the room I will need to walk around in soon, but it's worth it) I've got a lot of friends who asked to borrow my carpet cleaner to try out on their carpets before buying their own, so I would definitely recommend it to people)
