What has happened to my favorite bacon? For the past few months the bacon is not as thick a cut as it was and has much more fat than lean. It is difficult to cook because it curls up and cooks so uneven. Cooked a new package tonight and it was terrible. Apparently the recipe and slicing process has changed. Very disappointed,

This bacon cooks the best. Being thick cut you can really cook it evenly. Mo matter is its hickory smoked or any of the other varieties it is so superior to other bacons I've ever tried. Dont let the price scare you. It's a bit more pricey but with this you get what you pay for.

I've been a Wright Brand Bacon lover for 10+ years now and introduced it to so many other people I lost count. Every once in awhile I try a copycat and no one would ever come close. However, as of late I've been disappointed with the quality of flavor and cut. I've tried all flavors and now only buy the Hickory Smoked because I like it best. It would seem something has changed with the process because I've tried and tried so many packages just hoping it was a fluke, now I really am wondering. The cut inconsistency, I'm referring to thickness of the slices, is now getting annoying because it makes cooking it inconsistent as you can imagine. I read another review speaking to the slices breaking apart and included a photo and have experienced that same exact thing many times. Honestly, my wife and I simply eat less bacon now because Wright has spoiled us to the point that no other brand is on the same level. Please, I beg of you, get your act back together and fix these 'so called' improvements you have made to your process(es). I know manufacturing and improvements/changes are made all the time and especially being part of a MAJOR corporation like Tyson, these value/cost saving improvements are not thoughts or ideas, but requirements. Seems something has come unhinged at some point and now the product is changing.

This bacon is hands down my favorite commercial bacon of all time. Perfect thickness and a good level of hickory smoked flavor - this is the brand I grab when I want to make BLTs. It's price point is higher than many, but it's sold in 24oz packages and this is one case where you get what you pay for quality wise.

My family loves Wrights thick cut bacons. They go very well on sandwiches and burgers and perfect on its own. My kids especially like the thicker cut, which is tastier and crunchier than the usual thin cuts. I would definitely buy this again in the future. Highly recommend

I visited a friend in Georgia this week who always introduces me to something I've not tried before. This time, it was Wright's bacon. I've been an "I only eat Oscar Mayer bacon" person forever. I think that's changed. I had to do a little hunting (I live in Maryland), but I finally found it....and can't wait for breakfast tomorrow, and all the BLT's to come.

The only complaint I have about your bacon is the price. I would much rather eat your thick cut bacon than the really thin cut stuff I usually have to settle for just because I can't afford the good stuff. I know there is not much that you can do about that so I will end my rant. Other than that, the flavor of most of your bacon products is really good, even the maple flavored.

We LOVE this bacon but recently although labeled as thick cut it clearly it is not thick cut. It also fell apart when taking it out of the package. The quality has definitely declined but the price has gone way up. Hopefully it will get back to the great product we have bought for years.

I have bought Wright bacon for years because the thick cut and quality is well worth the price and my family loves that it cooks up nice and thick. Until recently. The last 4 times I have bought it it is thin and falls apart while cooking and is no better than cheap Oscar Meyer. Not sure who is cutting now but they are failing horribly . Now I have to find a new bacon..

Love Wright's Bacon and have bought it for YEARS! Sadly, not only has the price increased dramatically....the bacon is NOT thick sliced like it used to be. I would say it is 1 step above thin. I love the flavor, but still disappointed in the slice thickness it has now.
