What is happening! I have been a Wright Bacon customer for many years, but the quality is not consistent. I recently bought a three pound pack and it is TERRIBLE! One end of the slice burns while the other end is not even fully cooked. I normally buy the smaller package but walmart was out of that size.

This one is a little thick but still gets crispy if cooked properly. Though my preference is still thin and crispy. Plus it is abit salty for me. My husband loves his bacon so I literally prepared this for his breakfast this morning so i can also try and yeah its a bit too salty for me. ❤Follow for a Follow Back❤

I have bought this bacon several times before, this past time, it was very salty, to the point, i don't want to eat it. The reason i gave 2 stars is due to the meat to fat ratio is good and it was well cut. I am not sure if i will purchase again, due to the over salting.. unless that is changed?.

What has happened to my favorite bacon? For the past few months the bacon is not as thick a cut as it was and has much more fat than lean. It is difficult to cook because it curls up and cooks so uneven. Cooked a new package tonight and it was terrible. Apparently the recipe and slicing process has changed. Very disappointed,

All though i like all Wright's Brand, i love their Hickory Smoked the best. Real smoke, not too strong, just 'wright'. And, not thin or over thick like others. Next time America's Test Kitchen TV show should compare Wright Brand Bacon too. The only thing negative about the Hickory is that it is never is stock because it is always sold out!

Been a long time customer and loved the bacon, but lately it just hasn’t been the same. Today I opened a new pack of the applewood and the first 5 slices I took out looked like this. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but this is getting ridiculous. Its so hit and miss with this bacon and this is the only bacon brand i buy. I don’t want to change, I just want what I pay for. Wright bacon is the most expensive on the shelf we’re I’m at but sometimes the quality doesn’t add up.

The consistent good quality, even cuts and wonderful taste have made this bacon the star of our 5 star breakfast at our inn and restaurant. No other bacon has so far come close to quality and taste of this bacon. Our guests have nominated us for the "best bacon contest"!

We like Wright Brand bacon, but this "thicker cut" is too thick! Wright bacon is normally thick, no need for it to be thicker. Please stock the regular thickness (that can be bought at other stores) in addition to this or instead of this thicker cut.

Excellent bacon, been buying it for years. However, today the brakes came on when I saw the price. Super impressive at 6 dollars a pound, yep that's sarcasm. So instead of buying two of these like I normally do I bought one and it might be my last at that price. I'm not aware of any pig shortage.

Great value for the price! Affordable and has Quality taste on par or better than other brands. Perfectly seasoned and slightly smokey flavor. Makes a delicious snack, breakfast side, BLT, topping for baked potatoes, bacon wrapped asparagus,... makes me want to bacon wrap everything edible.
