This bacon has the best smoked hickory flavor of any bacon I have ever tried. The thick slices cook well and retain the flavor. I've been buying this brand for several years now and highly recommend it.

$15 for quite a while and then randomly jumped to $24, no way am I buying it at that price. Hoping it'll come back down, I only buy this brand so if it doesn't I'll have to look elsewhere

This bacon lacks most of its bacon flavor and the wood smoke flavor isn't strong either. They need to bring back the applewood as it was much more flavorful!

The bacon tastes great. No complaints there. The front pack with the label is thick sliced. The pack behind it is a lot thinner. I paid for thick cut bacon not one pack thick and one pack thin.

It's very fatty and not a lot of meat, but it was good for the price, now it's increased so much I'd recommend looking at products with a higher meat ratio.

This bacon is really good but the price is seriously out of hand. There is no meat shortage and this bacon was just a little bit under $18 just last year. Shame Sam's Club

When we cooked up the bacon we were both wowed by the taste, quality and texture We both agreed it was the best bacon we had ever had in our lives! We are now total converts to Wright Brand bacon and we will never eat any other brand of bacon. Thank you for making an awesome product!!

My dad has been cooking this bacon since I was born and I'm so grateful because there really is no other bacon like it! It's nice and thick, and the bag is resealable. The quality is unbeatable! Worth every penny. PRO TIP: it's pretty fattening so I cut the bacon in half when I bake it so I can get more pieces for less bacon!

Typically i would give this 5 stars for the quality and price, but i can't do that anymore with the crazy price increase. Went up $10 recently to over $6/pound up from $4.25/pound. That's crazy quick inflation. What's going on with meat prices lately?

If you are tempted to buy a cheaper brand because it "looks" just as good as Wright's, you WILL be bitterly disappointed! I made this mistake one time when the grocer was out of Wrights. I bought what should have been a very acceptable and comparable product that was locally made, hickory smoked and thick cut, but it turned out to be horrible! Now, I make the extra effort to seek out Wright's, else I just do without until I can find it. Sure, over the years, I've seen product quality issues with Wright's just like one sees with all market brands no matter the product, but, Wright's always seems to recover quickly and returns to their high quality bacon we all know and love! It is not a case of more often than not, it is a case of issues being the rare exception, while consistent quality is the rule! I love the resealable packaging too! Be sure to cook it in an iron fry pan, the way God intended, so you can save the grease for a tasty addition to other dishes, like fried or scrambled eggs, or for the best tasting fried chicken you ever ate! I even fry catfish in it! Delicious!
