What has happened to my favorite bacon? For the past few months the bacon is not as thick a cut as it was and has much more fat than lean. It is difficult to cook because it curls up and cooks so uneven. Cooked a new package tonight and it was terrible. Apparently the recipe and slicing process has changed. Very disappointed,

We buy Wright bacon and absolutely loved it because of not only the tastes but the cut, Lately the cuts have have smaller and smaller and no thickness at all. After cooking looks like other brands. I have recommended this Applewood and Hickory smoked to many and hope this is a temporary thing. I will continue to buy because of the taste not happy with the quality.

Excellent bacon, been buying it for years. However, today the brakes came on when I saw the price. Super impressive at 6 dollars a pound, yep that's sarcasm. So instead of buying two of these like I normally do I bought one and it might be my last at that price. I'm not aware of any pig shortage.

Wright bacon is great if you like thicker cuts. It fries well and bakes well. It has good flavor without being too salty. Makes great additions to baked beans. It can be hard to fine leaner cuts. There's lots of pieces with more fat than anything, so if you do not like super fatty bacon, this won't be for you.

The consistent good quality, even cuts and wonderful taste have made this bacon the star of our 5 star breakfast at our inn and restaurant. No other bacon has so far come close to quality and taste of this bacon. Our guests have nominated us for the "best bacon contest"!

The only complaint I have about your bacon is the price. I would much rather eat your thick cut bacon than the really thin cut stuff I usually have to settle for just because I can't afford the good stuff. I know there is not much that you can do about that so I will end my rant. Other than that, the flavor of most of your bacon products is really good, even the maple flavored.

The best thick cut bacon on the market! So tasty and it hardly shrinks when cooked. This bacon is perfect for salads, BLT'S and more! It is pricier than other thick cut bacon but totally worth it. Taste doesn't even compare. Will definitely buy again.

We have never been so pleased with the Hickory Smoked Bacon from Wright. We baked it in the over and the aroma told us something good was to come out. It didn't curl up and the texture was like eating a slice of ham. My wife is a happy person eating Wright's BLT today. We have found Gold.

I have previously recommended this bacon to everyone because it was thick and it tasted like old fashion hickory smoked bacon. Every time I have purchased recently it gets worse. Today was the end of me wasting hard earned money on paper thin, tasteless strips of fat. My health will thank me, so Wright did me a favor.

Bought a 24oz package and was only able to salvage 10 pieces. I check packages on both sides even looking for the extra pieces added to one side to hide a bad side. This package got me. It was so fatty in the middle. Sooo disappointing. I’m normally a fan but this was awful.
