Safety Hazard

Avoid at all costs! Battery stopped charging after 4 months and wire to charger broke and shocked me while plugging it in. Quality is poor for the cost of the item. Definitely a safety hazard!

Only worked correctly for 2 days

Got this for my son for Christmas before Christmas weekend finished it would quit working and when being moved it would trigger something and it would start going again. My husband has looked at it and he thinks it needs a new at least a new power switch not sure if it needs more it stopped be able to turn on so he has to try to fix that part first. Very disappointed

Bad Battery Life

My daughter absolutely loves her go kart and all the drifts she can do. She doesn't love the fact that she can only ride it for 15-30 mins after having it fully charged. The battery doesn't last long at all and has been like this since she got it for Christmas.

Jetson makes great products

I bought this about 3 years ago and I have had so much fun with this I love the lights and I really like how your able to drift really good on this kart or you can just ride around with friends and family so cool I am happy I got this but the kart is dirty because i haven't used it in a long time because I lost the charger but im buying volt x Jetson charger

Good but my go kart's lead acid battery sulfated

Gooe but lead acid battery sulfates after 6-12Months but it was fun i just need to buy a new 24v 7ah lead acid battery to get back to riding that battery cost 109dollars. When i used to ride it i loved drifting in it and even just driving was fun

Better options out there

kart is quick for a kids toy. battery does not last long as advertised and rear tires have no grip when trying to ride normal "non drift mode" when letting off the throttle kart wants to slide sideways.

Short term, doesn't last. Don't buy

Bought 2 for my kids last December for Christmas. I rated 2 stars because they lasted like 5 months. They were super fun for my kids but now have $700 worth of plastic in my shed that doesn't work. Thanks Jetson, and thanks Sam's for selling these terrible products.

Worst return experience ever

We purchased 2 of these. One stopped working shortly after opening. Tried to pursue the warranty through Jetson that was offered according to the box and instruction manual. Jetson would not honor the warranty so we arranged a return through Sam's club. Sam's club sent FedEx to pick up the return. The box was picked up by FedEx and Sam's club will not refund for my return claiming it has been lost in transit. I have been emailing for months and have stopped getting any response from Sam's club. The customer service with this return alone has been awful and so unlike the service we have experienced during our decades of membership. We will not be renewing our membership after this experience and make sure to tell all friends and colleagues to avoid Sams club after this experience. As for the go-kart, one works great, the other stopped working within a month. Do not count on Sams or Jetson to stand by this product.

My kids really loves this drift cart for the two weeks is lasted. The rear tires came apart after 2 weeks of use and the warranty was useless as Jetson does not give spart parts and they just give you a gift card to buy another from their website only which is a waste as they have nothing in stock.

Buyer Beware Replacement Parts Not Available

1-Star Review: Jetson Volt X – Absolute Nightmare Purchase – Save Your Money and Your Sanity I made the terrible mistake of buying two Jetson Volt X electric ride-ons for my kids as Christmas gifts. What should have been an exciting holiday surprise turned into a month-long disaster that has genuinely upset my children and made me question how a company like this is still in business. One of the units arrived with a noticeably bent rear axle—clearly damaged during shipping or manufacturing. It was completely unusable out of the box. The second one works… for now… but the cheap plastic construction and flimsy design make it obvious it won't survive more than a couple months of normal kid use. Here's where it gets truly infuriating: • Jetson does not sell or offer any replacement parts whatsoever. Not the axle, not bearings, nothing. • Their customer service is hands-down the worst I have ever dealt with. We've been emailing back and forth for nearly a month (yes, a full month for a Christmas gift that still sits broken in the garage). • Every response is vague, condescending, and filled with obvious stall tactics. They keep asking for the same photos and information over and over, then disappear for days before sending another useless reply. • It's becoming painfully clear they have zero intention of actually fixing or replacing the defective product. The whole process feels engineered to run out the clock until they can push us toward a worthless store credit for something else on their website (gee, thanks… I really want to give this company more money). The worst part? My kids are old enough to notice. One of them keeps asking why Santa brought a toy that doesn't work and the other one can't use theirs. Christmas magic ruined because a company couldn't be bothered to ship a functional product or stand behind it when it inevitably fails. This is not just a bad toy. This is a terrible company that preys on parents trying to make their kids happy during the holidays. The Jetson Volt X is overpriced junk ($400 each!!), poorly designed, and backed by customer service that treats people like an annoyance instead of customers. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY. Save your $400 and your holiday spirit. There are far better options out there from companies that actually care about quality and customer satisfaction. Avoid Jetson like the plague.
