This was a good order from start to finish. Well made as advertised for the money. Delivered as promised, when promised. Easy to set up. Don't need to bolt it to the floor. Weighs 270 lbs, and mine is probably over 300 lbs with all my stuff in it. Only had three weeks, but working well so far. Holds a lot of stuff. Good buy for the money. Beats those little safety deposit boxes, if you can get one for the high rent.

This is the second one of this size I have. For a person aging, I can move this safe by myself,not too big. I like the features of water proof/fire proof. Delivery was very fast. The only downfall of the delivery was the company was going to call to set up a drop off date/time, they did not, lucky my wife was home. The delivery man did stage the safe inside my garage;not left on the curb;TY. There is a strong smell of glue inside the safe, this will go away in time. This is a great safe with excellent features, I would recommend!

This safe is great! The safe is strong and secure. It is made out of heavy-duty steel and the workmanship is top notch. It is secured by four side bolts and one top bolt. It is the perfect size for storing documents, jewels, handguns and other valuables. The height of the inside shelves is adjustable providing flexibility in what and where items are stored. Having researched numerous safes of this class, size and weight, I believe this is best safe in its class. It is also a great value. It was a great purchase.

This was the only safe in its size class which was water resistant in addition to being fireproof. Reasonably priced, and unlike other manufacturers, offered free delivery to the door...others would only deliver to the curb, which for a safe this size, would require more umph than this aging retiree possesses to push up a sloped driveway to the house. The safe arrived in perfect condition, and opened right up once batteries (not included) were installed. The electronic lock was easy to program, and instructions and information (in a bag on the outside of the safe) were clear and easy to follow. Internal shelves are padded and adjustable. This is a qualified gun safe, which, at least here in Washington State, means it is exempt from sales tax. For me a 10 percent bonus! Hardware is included to bolt the safe to the floor for additional security, but at a few hundred pounds once loaded, is not something that could be carted away easily! Sadly, the safe comes with two bolt holes predrilled and unplugged in the bottom, which for those who rent or have hard concrete floors which can't be drilled, makes the safe less water resistant. I suppose placing it on a rubber sheet might work. In my case I bought a tube of silicon sealant, filled the holes and let it cure. It would be nice if this model came with rubber plugs or just made the holes as knockouts, but this is the only issue I had with the safe. I have two smaller Sentry safes which have served me well for many years. This will likely be the last one I'll need to buy, and so far, I love it!

Nice size not to large but large enough to store a lot of documents, coins, etc. Only thing I wish there was a light inside that would really help. I found a magnetic light and attached to one of the shelves, and will get 2 more for the other shelves. Lights really make a difference.

I've had great luck with SentrySafes so the product itself is just fine. The interior space is right at 4.68, so I'll let them round up to 4.7. HOWEVER, comma, the exterior dimensions ARE NOT as advertised. :( The safe is only Sixteen inches wide (16") NOT 19" as advertised. The safe is only Twenty and a half inches (20.5") deep, and NOT 21.7. I might not argue much about an inch on the depth. It's not much, but an inch is an inch. However, I will express my extreme disappointment with the safe being short 3 inches across. I REALLY needed those 3 inches. If I had known the safe was going to be so much smaller than advertised I would have opted for a different model (perhaps a different brand). I'm going to mark the recommend box as a YES. But, that comes with a caveat emptor that the next person who buys this safe needs to understand that the external size is NOT as advertised.

It is what I expected. However, the smell is horrendous. Sentry needs to find another adhesive or liner for the inside. We put the safe in our garage with the door open for one week to let it air out. I had a portable fan blowing inside of it the entire time. It still smells. Every document and my stamp collection got sealed into food saver vacuum bags before getting put into it. I open the safe once a week and let it sit for several hours so it can air out. The smell isn't as strong, but it is still there. I read other reviews about the smell prior to this purchase but didn't realize how valid their complaints truely were.

The safe was delivered with multiple dents and scratches. When I contacted customer service, I was told I would have to get this 300ln safe back out of my house to be picked back up. However, I was offered a paltry $70 Sams gift card for keeping it. The safe itself is great.

Sam's Club end was great. Received when promised and packaged great. However, when we opened the box, the paint on the edges is all chipped off, and the plugs in the hinges are broken out. This is the second safe I purchased from Sentry, the first (smaller one) is great, but apparently their quality has gone down since my last purchase, about 8 years ago.

The safe arrived smelling like mildew inside and I’m not sure what to do about it. I didn’t realize it until I had gone through the laborious task of getting it up two flights of stairs and into the chosen spot. It’s too much work to remove it and attempt to exchange it. Very disappointed…
