The authentic Italian Parmesan Sam's used to have was SO MUCH better, and only slightly more expensive.

Tasty parm! Not too salty and a bit softer than most parms! Melts perfectly in soups, stews, etc. Easy to grate.

Bought it to use for alfredo but it didnt turn out like it does with other brands. Would be fine grated for topping

I always get my block o parm here. The quality is great, I love having a big block of Parmesan in my fridge for fresh shredding and this one tastes great and has excellent consistency

I bought this when I could no longer find the imported Italian brand. It was too moist and has a different aroma than the imported. I won't buy this again.

Please procure the American version that is made from "Cultured Milk", the one made with "Pasteurized Milk" (this one) is no longer a raw milk cheese like the one in Italy is.

This is by far the best Parmesan cheese I have tried. We eat it straight off the block. Grocery store wedge Parmesan cheeses do not come close. You will not be disappointed. Excellent value and quality.

We usually buy the imported Parmesan Cheese from another Big Box store, and of course you can't beat real Italian Parmesan. HOWEVER - we saw this domestic parmesan at Sam's and it was roughly HALF the price of the imported version, so we figured it was worth a try at that price. Well, we were definitely VERY surprised when we discovered that this Parmesan tasted amazing! I didn't do a blind taste test or taste them side by side, but it was good enough to make me keep this cheese on rotation in our house for pastas, pizzas, soups, etc. This cheese is an excellent value and it tastes VERY good. I think most people would not know the difference unless they did a side-by-side taste test between this and the real imported version. If you're on a budget I would HIGHLY recommend this excellent American Parmesan cheese for most people.

Does not taste as good as the real Parmigiano Reggiano, which is aged twice as long
