while taking it out of the jar, it felt soft. didn't think anything of it. once I bit into it it was mushy. i thought I had a not so good piece. tried another. they were ALL extremely soft to where it was like paste in your mouth. what a waste of $$.

i love and use them everyday,i put atleast 6 artichoke heart in my daily salads. sometimes i just eat them out of the jar. they are one of the best buys sams has!!!!! i am devasted i cant get them at my sams and pray it is only temporary!!!! please!!!!!!!!!! bring them back

Yes, these are only packed in water. Makes them more versatile n many recipes & a low-cal low-carb snack. I add garlic & extra salt when I open a jar & it seasons them. These are the tenderest snacks, easy to quarter. To open the jar, use a knife to pry the lid OUT, just enough to break the seal. You can't get this value in any grocery store.

I absolutely love these, never had them go mushy, but they haven’t lasted longer than 1 month in my fridge because we put them in salads and I eat them one by one as a snack. Great flavor, I even sip the juice...I’m addicted!!! Not sure what those old reviews are referring to unless they were packaged different back then and may not have been what they are now.

I have gotten these before, and they have been great. This time they had some odd looking small clumps of dark stuff stuck to the side of the jar that looked moldy. The jar was sealed so not sure what happened. I had to throw the whole jar of them away.

Save yourself the hassle and buy your canned artichokes elsewhere in smaller containers that can be opened. The lid cannot be opened!! It is on til the world ends and then forever past that point. Great for storage but not great when you want to eat them. Will be returning these for my $$ back. These should not be hard to open!!!!!!!!! I live an hour away and it frustrates me so much I'm willing to drive back to return this product. It's even so frustrating that when you combine with rumors of plus customers paying shipping under $50 purchases, that I want to cancel my membership! Yes, this product is that frustrating to try and open. And the frustration still has not provided strength to get it open.

Good product. They are not like your typical jar of artichoke hearts but will do.

So glad to find these in a jar for the refrigerator and not drenched in oil or pickled. I use them in salads and chicken casseroles to provide a little tanginess to otherwise bland meals.
