I buy these whenever they are available in the Concord, CA store. We much prefer these over any other brand and like that they are not packed in oil. We use them mostly in salads and on pizza. The lid is not any more difficult to open than most any other product sold in a glass jar with a metal lid such as apple sauce, salsa, mixed salad beans, pasta sauce, etc. Please keep selling these.

We love this artichoke for Salads! It's packed in WATER. NOT OIL or MARINATED! The texture and flavor are excellent!

Wish I could get the jar open to even taste them. I'm no weakling, but could not open the jar no matter what I tried.
