I eat these by themselves or have added the to a salad. I really like them.

High quality artichokes. Perfect for pizza and making hot artichoke dip.

Large restaurant quality whole artichoke hearts. Not really pickled flavor.

After only 2 weeks in the fridge, they got a white filmy mold, on top, and the hearts became mold. Unfortunately, I only had eaten 6 out of the jar. Store would not refund or replace. Nowhere on jar does it say spoils in 2 weeks. It however says best by 2017. Which I took as not spoiling in 2 weeks. Will not buy again.

They are a staple in our house to eat with Sunday dinner. I dump all the water out and fill with balsalmic or red wine vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, oregano and basil and sometimes rosemary. We put a few on our salad. I havent had any trouble with them going bad. Its just my guess they may have been opened before you bought them. Just marinate & enjoy!
