Spoils too quickly

After only 2 weeks in the fridge, they got a white filmy mold, on top, and the hearts became mold. Unfortunately, I only had eaten 6 out of the jar. Store would not refund or replace. Nowhere on jar does it say spoils in 2 weeks. It however says best by 2017. Which I took as not spoiling in 2 weeks. Will not buy again.

Great and ready to be marinated!

They are a staple in our house to eat with Sunday dinner. I dump all the water out and fill with balsalmic or red wine vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, oregano and basil and sometimes rosemary. We put a few on our salad. I havent had any trouble with them going bad. Its just my guess they may have been opened before you bought them. Just marinate & enjoy!

Artichokes

Consistently have purchased these artichokes , never a problem. We love artichoke dip, I make it for all the family gatherings. I use the whole jar. My problem is we can no longer find them nor do I find them on Sam's website as available. I hope they bring them back soon. as for the jar opening hard, I always tap jars to break the seal on sealed jars. I'm elderly and have no problem opening them.

Rot Quickly

I bought these in the summer knowing they were in water thinking they would be good to use in a spinach and artichoke dip. They worked out well. However, after maybe a week or so open in my fridge the rest spoiled. Like everyone else here I thought it was a fluke and bought them a 2nd time only to find they spoiled just as quickly.I will not buy again unless I know I will use the whole jar immediately. In the future I will probably look to another store to buy frozen artichoke hearts to keep on hand for dip.

Bring back the marinated artichoke hearts

You used to carry marinated artichoke hearts in a jar that were much, much better than these. I hope you can bring them back in 2018 from whoever your supplier was. These are just "ok" for salads since the consumer will be adding salad dressing to their entire salad. The marinated ones were a delicious treat as a stand alone meal accompaniment.

Delicious

These are perfect alone or in recipes. I love that they are not packed in oil or have other seasoning added so that I can use them in multiple recipes. Also great with a charcuterie tray. I never had a problem with spoiling but I have consumed within 3 weeks of opening. I do struggle with opening the jar when new. It’s very tight and the jar is so big!
