Love this Thing! We installed it in our Binzebo with a Surround Theater. Picture is stunning. I personally like the Magic Remote. Easy to use with a little practice. Amazing picture for a TV of this size. Oh! Did i mention it was under a grand! Kudos LG and Sams Club!

Excellant Choice!

I looked this up on Google and one review said this is a good entry level. WHAT?? We were watching the other day after having it a month and I paused it and asked my wife, "Where's the reflection?" I never noticed that the reflection was gone! Don't think that this 86 inch is too big. Our first floor is open so one of the couches is 6 feet in front of it. The other couch is on the side and it it looks great at an angle. The kitchen counter is 18 feet away directly in front of it (I'm always prepping and cooking so I'm always at the counter.) Ok, just buy it! It's only $1K and free shipping (Sams Plus) BUT, get ready to take your current stand to Goodwill like we did and get prepared to assemble a new one. I spent about 15 hours total prepping for the new tv. Assembling the new stand, and lots of cleaning, vaccuming after removing the stand, rearranging all living room pictures, rewiring sh!t, cables, polishing that needed to be done, etc. Now, I am going to give you something crucial that I didn't have. Measurements. The feet on this thing are 60' apart and the TV is 75' wide. (remember that 86'screen is corner to corner) If it is on the floor with the feet mounted, it is 40' tall. My new stand is 80' wide so I have 10 inches on each side of the feet after it is centered. Sams doesn't have one that big but I found one for Google for $160 with free shipping and it was so heavy that the UPS driver had to back up to my house and shuffle it and lean it against the house. It looks expensive after you assemble it. Anyway, I think you should have enough information now to just buy it. I priced this a couple years ago and it was triple the price. This will save you money because you'll never go to the theatre again!

Great TV, upset no price adjust due to TV size😒😒

This TV is great!!!!! The only thing that I have an issue with is that it had a price drop a week after i purchased so I asked the manager was i eligible for a price adjustment and she replied i would have to bring the tv back in even when I had the receipt to show proof of purchase. I dont understand why all of that is necessary when i wasnt returning the product i was simply asking for the price adjustment. And to make matters worse they said that they do honor price adjustments. I really would like to talk to corporate about this because I have been Sams club PLUS member for years and I spend a minimum of hundreds of dollars every month there.

I'm excited about the AI Television but I really don't understand The remote control, spastic, uncontrollable, zipping across the screen issues I'm having. There needs to be a way to control the speed of this wheel, and if there is one, I haven't found it in the guidebook yet I'm still fumbling through that.

Nice TV for the money

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because when the screen is darker, at the top right is an area that lets light through. It's almost as though the screen wasn't sealed completely at the top right. It's not enough for me to take it back or make a warranty claim. So, enough of the bad. I haven't hooked up my surround sound as the TV's sound is good. I have it mounted to the wall. You will need 3 people to mount to the wall as this TV is heavey. 2 to hold the TV in place and 1 to start the screws. Color is fantastic. Football games are amazing. NASCAR is amazing. I think one would be more than satisfied with this TV. And. lets not forget the warranty. 3 years is hard to beat. I have owned Samsung and Vizio for the last 10-15 years, only to have the TV's needing to be replaced for various reasons. I can't speak for the longevity as I've only had this TV for about 6 weeks now. Hope this helps.

Honestly, the inability to opt out of the data collection / spyware / surveillance part it is a real turn off. If I had known about this level of intrusion, I would have done more research to see if there's a brand that doesn't insist on this to even let you watch tv...

Now at the 6 week mark in my relationship with this 2023 LG50UR8000AUA. The picture is Excellent if you are sitting with a straight on viewing angle. If you deviate 20 degrees from this angle the colors are washed out to the point of making the set unwatchable. I continue to play with the settings to compensate for this issue, but I can "fix" this issue.

Most Annoying!

We bought this TV 5 weeks ago. Picture is great as is sound. BUT, it's defective! EVERY 2 minutes it goes Silent for 15 seconds, turns itself off, stays off for 20 seconds, then turns itself back on. Spent about an hour on the phone with Customer Support, where they Hoped they turned off ANY sleep timers. No improvement. Instead of just Exchanging it for a new one, I'm now Waiting for a company to come out to Service it - Which they WONT schedule until the parts they THINK are needed Arrives! Obviously, this TV is more Annoying to WATCH for my Homebound/Handicapped husband than just trying to get himself to ANY other room. WE'RE NOT HAPPY.
