Garbage

Bought two of these things. Sure they look nice, it has buttons but it’s sucks. The filter that is suppose to keep deposits out of the air...done any actually do that. We haven’t had this but 2 months and the fan is breaking, the humidity is never high enough to keep the home comfortable. I get shocked just changing shifting in a chair or when our pets come up to us. It’s bad. I have had other humidifiers in the past and as long as they were running, we did not have a static issue or any dryness. This year has not been any colder or dryer then any others. So I know it is just these humidifiers that are not getting the job done. By the way we moved the 2nd humidifier down stairs and we have a condo. So they can’t even handle that small of a square footage (under 1200 sq ft). So after spending 140 for the pair....I’m headed back to the store to get the older cheaper version because those work better. Also the warm mode is laughable. It is not a warm mist like you would expect. It is slightly less cold the. The cold mode. Anyway I would not waste any more money on these things and I probably will steer clear of this brand all together going forward because how can you screw up a humidifier? Just shows you there is no integrity behind the brand. I have looked up the equipment to see if others have the same issues and they do. Both the fan issue and the lvl of humidity. We will be throwing these away as it is not worth the head ache to even try to replace them. I will say one positive about the unit, it does look nice. But I think more attention was put into its appearance then was placed in function and performance. So bottom line, buyer beware. Maybe buy the extended warranty if you want that headache. Or just go get the 35$ models at Walmart that is one tick above the old fashion vicks humidifiers instead. Least those work.

Works as advertised

A lot of comments of not getting warm steam but product leads consumer that’s it can produce both warm/kool mist. The most important use of product is to support and add to a hot muggy room we’re one cannot breath or gets electrical shock as there is so much statically and product does this marvelously! zIN

Do not purchase...electrical fire?

Purchased this in April of 2020. We used it 6-8 times in 20 months. We followed the instructions and never had trouble UNTIL it started making a "clicking" spark or snapping type sound and then smelled like an electrical short. We immediately unplugged the unit and it smelled like melted plastic and was hot to the touch almost starting a fire. Do not buy this unit. Do not sleep while it is running. If we weren't in the room at the time this happened, this could've ended in a horrible way.

Impossible to Clean the center outlet tube!

Worked great until the build-up of the black muck in the center tube that does not come apart. I religiously cleaned this machine with cotton swabs and vinegar as recommended. Despite my best efforts, it turned out to be gross and disgusting - putting black mold into the air that I breathe. I threw it out! and now I am looking for a different brand that I can completely take apart and clean properly.

Love this humidifier

I bought this 5 years ago. We heat with wood and it gets very dry here. This has raised our humidity to 45% and it's much more comfortable now. It's silent and works great. I will buy another. This year I will clean it thoroughly, it has started making a humming noise at startup. We use reverse osmosis water, but after 5 years I will use a q-tip and clean thoroughly before I store it for the summer.

Don’t bother please

Don’t bother. I bought this last October 2021 and today December 6 2022 it no longer works. It’s constantly shutting off or just won’t turn on and when I do get it to turn on it runs for about 15 minutes then shuts off. I’m not careless with it, I use purified water, and clean it regularly. After winter/dry season, I cleaned it and let it air dry for several days, then packed it back up in its box until a few days ago when the weather really started changing and the dryness set in. I’m so disappointed as this was not cheap and I have to be very selective on how I spend my money. I will be bringing this back for a return if I still can, and trying to find something better even if it costs more.

works great

I have had this humidifier for a couple of years. It works great. I only use the cool mist now but it has raised the humidity in my huge bedroom to 49% from 17%. I am going to buy another one for my living room. This is the best humidifier I have ever owned.

Machine works great

Although there were delays in delivery. I have it and it doesn't disappoint. Very easy to operate and it is quiet. You may hear a gurgle sound as water moves into system but it is far and few between. Plus machine is new so it's clear machine would need to warm up. Warm mist is great and uses water quickly so be mindful. With cool mist water stays longer. Great machine.

Great for Respiratory Health

This model has been a real workhorse for me. I use distilled water, and add dissolved lung-healthy ingredients as recommended by my healthcare provider (which would void the warranty, but I don’t care - I’ve gotten my money’s worth from this machine). I’ve not used the warm mist option. I routinely clean the machine (water tank and wet areas in the base) (@ every 10 days?), to keep the water mist pristine and healthy to breathe. I don’t scrub (scratches can mar the appearance, but worse, bacteria can grow in scratched spots faster). I rinse well with a small quantity of white vinegar, followed by a distilled water rinse, then 3% food hydrogen peroxide soak/rinse, then another rinse with distilled water and it’s ready to go. Any tiny spots that need attention I use a wet Q-tip on. None of this cleaning routine is mandatory, but as a microbiologist it’s what I like to do. I choose the above lung-safe cleaners, rather than chlorine or commercial disinfectants that can injure lungs even in trace amounts when residue is aerosolized. There are some good studies showing Coronavirus is less infective between 40 and 60% relative humidity. Humidified air certainly feels better to breathe, and helps your lungs, nose, sinuses, mouth,... fight infections easier. I love this machine, and feel much better when it’s on.
