I have bought two of these humidifiers, the first in 2016, which lasted almost 6 years. The newest one has better output than the older one and the controls have been updated a bit. I looked at other units and decided to stick with the Homedics humidifier. It has a large water capacity and can handle a 400 sq. ft. room. I wish it had a user specified default setting so you could start it with a single button. The controls allow a wide range of custom settings, but custom setup has to be repeated each time it is turned on. You can program operation by time, percent humidity or both. The lights can be turned off for night use in a bedroom or be left on as a nightlight if you prefer. Be sure to use the demineralization cartridge and clean the base unit frequently for best results.

Ordered this on-line. Easy to purchase and received item very quickly. This humidifier is working great so far. Definitely moistens the air and makes a difference. Very satisfied

This is an excellent humidifier. It is virtually silent and lasts well over 24 hours on a full tank. It is very attractively designed as well. I have mainly used it in the cold setting, so I cannot comment on the warm setting.

I bought this humidifier because it has warm mist in addition to cool mist, which seems to be what most humidifiers are. The problem with cool mist is it leaves a thin layer of dust everywhere if you use it often, as I do. I usually run a humidifier all day during the winter and this one has been running almost non-stop since I got it. It looks good and runs well, which was what I wanted in a humidifier.

I now own two of these humidifiers and use them all Winter season. The warm mist feature is the best! The extra moisture makes all the difference in my sleep quality. I also love that the unit is portable and easy to pack up and take on a trip. All the features make it easy to adjust to your individual needs. Easy to clean too. The price is a value given how well it works.

the humidifiers , which I bought 2 of them, work really well. I am not so dried up. But the filters in them are not working so well even after I followed directions to soak for 10 minuets before using. I get white dust on every thing including my glasses. And I cover up the vents on my electronics with a light cloth. But other than that, they work great.

This product works really well, very quite strong steam flow I like that you can shut off all the lights i want to. My one problem is I cannot get it to warm steam. I really don't care for cool mist. The product claims to do both. If someone knows how I can get it to produce warm mist I would appreciate it.

I want to give this humidifier a good rating, but... The aesthetics are very nice. It's attractive, has nice functions, is easy to fill, and the sleep mode turns off all the displays. However, when the unit is almost about out of water the pump sometimes emits a loud squealing noise that sounds like a siren. Not every time, but about a third of the time. The noise woke me up from a dead sleep last week. I'd return it for a refund, but by the time I pay for shipping, plus reimburse them for their shipping charge, might as well just give it away. If you either keep it mostly full of water, or are hard of hearing, this is the perfect humidifier for you.

I bought this less than a year ago, and after just a couple of months it started to fail. I used distilled water, cleaned as described in the manual, and followed all of the instructions. It started to make a horrific loud noise, like a motor going out on a vacuum. Not just a little electronic white noise. If it wasn't for that, it would have been a great product which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of just 1. I will definitely buy a different brand. At the price, it should last much longer.

My item is defective and is smoking internally. Returning items to this company take longer because they very rarely email you back. As well as the filter the post on this website to only reflects what they want viewers to see. Do not buy from here, look elsewhere.
