This vacuum works great! I have 1 dog & 2 cats and "thought" my previous vacuum was doing a good job. But this vacuum picked up so much better and has continued to do so. I feel my home is super clean after using it. And it's easy to use and moves like s dream. So glad I purchased this vacuum.

I just bought this within last month. Wish I could return It but I threw away the box. This thing is terrible on my rugs. I have hardwood floor with several large area rugs throughout my house. The moment I go over them the red light comes on and I lose the cycling component with the suction regardless of what setting I’m using. Not what I would expect from my previous Shark. Terrible purchase.

I’ve had this Shark Rotator Pet Plus for exactly 3 weeks. The first couple of weeks it worked perfectly. The last two times I have used it the vacuum has made a very loud motor sound and blows hot air. I cleared out all the clogs and emptied the tank thinking that was the problem, but it still makes that very loud sound. I’m afraid it’s going to overheat or something. The noise is very loud. It’s only 3 weeks old, so I don’t think this is normal.

This model feels very cheaply made compared to my older model. I've had it for just over a month and it's no longer sealed. I have one dog and you can definitely tell by running the vacuum. And, I empty it after each use. My older shark still has a good seal but this new one may as well not have any seal at all. On top of that, you can't use the wand further than a foot and a half away or the vacuum tips. Even if the hose stretches 12' there is no way you would be able to do what the picture suggests unless you anchor it to the floor. The reality is it falls over almost right away then drags behind you as you curse it and refuse to pick it up again. Lastly, it only seemed to really have decent suction right out of the box. It never seemed the same after that initial run.

We’ve always had Dyson vacuums. They have incredible suction and I’ve literally never had issues with them. So shame on me when I thought we’d pick this up for the main level in our home (mostly hardwoods and rug coverage). Well, we have 4 long haired dogs and need to vacuum a couple times a week and this thing clogs constantly. The roller brush on the front for hardwoods leaves massive clumps of hair and needs cleaning constantly. The suction is less than any dyson I have, and I couldn’t dare imagine trying to use this on my real carpet in the basement. Good thing I left my dyson down there for the basement carpet. Sad I wasted my Sam’s rewards on this last year.

Works fine on tile and hardwood (not what I really want a vacuum for) but on carpet, it’s worthless. After every go pass with the vacuum, it stops working and the brush roller needs to be cleaned. Ridiculous. Don’t waste your money. I really wished I had returned this vacuum immediately.

I purchased this model in May of 2021. It worked okay for the first couple of days. Now it is constantly losing suction, the hoses are clogging and the plastic part that connects the the tube to the hose physically came off of the vacuum.I have cleaned the filters and constantly cleared the hoses, literally a small clump of dog hair causes it to lose suction. For the money spent, I am totally unimpressed!

I bought the "Shark" a few months ago and gave it a good chance to replace my old Dyson. Don't waste money on it. The cord is too short and gets in the way. As an afterthought they tried to solve this by putting a little plastic clip on the side to hold it out of the way. Suction is pitiful. It drags on heavy carpet making the chore a tedious workout. The tank retains dust and is hard to keep clean. You can't inspect the level of dirt to decide when to empty it. I'll be tossing it soon and looking for another Dyson.

Purchased to replace a 20 year old competitor brand. Rave reviews for animal hair puck up, which it does well... from hard floors or carpet, NOT FROM FURNITURE. Unless you vacuum every day, plan on spending hours to get pet hair from upholstery. The extended hose was my buying feature of choice, however,, being the vacuum is too light,, you can't extend the hose without someone holding the vacuum, otherwise is follows you around.. including up a ladder or stool, which has caused me to loose balance and biff it.. I'm returning it, or dumping it in a dumpster. Waste of time effort and money.

Bought this vacuum in May 2021, and the handle clip which secures it to the wand broke in November 2021. This time frame is outside Sam's replacement warranty. Checked with Shark and it is also outside their replacement warranty also, although supposedly there is a 5-year warranty on parts? Shark offered to sell me a replacement part, which I declined. The warranty was of no value. This vacuum cleaner is cheaply made, and it is no surprise this clip broke. I would expect the replacement part to break also. There are better alternatives for a quality vacuum cleaner. Avoid Sharp products.
