For years, I have been dragging around a cumbersome Rainbow and dumping that nasty water out. No more! I love this vacuum. It is easy to use and has tons of suction. We have 2 dogs that are in the house part-time and one is an adorable Corgi cross that shucks hair like crazy. It picks up the dog hair off the carpet with ease. I also like that it is easy to unsnap the nozzle to suck up a quick cobweb or particles along a baseboard. I am sorry that I kept the other vacuum for so long because I probably didn't vacuum as much as I should have due to the task of filling the water reservoir and dumping it out. Do yourself a favor and buy this vacuum.

I know now that shark company pays for its #1 top reviews. There is no way this product would get 5 stars from anyone. This is our 3rd shark and the 6th one I have used consistently. My parents and work also had them. 5/6 vacuums the hose split within a year. The seals to hoses and filters have to be cleaned constantly and the filters have to be cleaned constantly. We have very little traffic and no animals. The hose is way too short and tios the vaccum as soon as you pull it from the base. You literally have to pick this entire vaccum up and carry as you move to vaccum things above waist level. Will never buy another shark and wish all of the product review sites weren't bought and paid for so people could have an honest review. Greed is a terrible thing.

Purchased to replace a 20 year old competitor brand. Rave reviews for animal hair puck up, which it does well... from hard floors or carpet, NOT FROM FURNITURE. Unless you vacuum every day, plan on spending hours to get pet hair from upholstery. The extended hose was my buying feature of choice, however,, being the vacuum is too light,, you can't extend the hose without someone holding the vacuum, otherwise is follows you around.. including up a ladder or stool, which has caused me to loose balance and biff it.. I'm returning it, or dumping it in a dumpster. Waste of time effort and money.

This is my favorite vacuum ever purchased. I really enjoy the easy switch from carpet and hard floor, it makes cleaning the whole house a breeze! I enjoy the long hose for hard to reach spots as well as the attachments included. The easy disposing of the debris chamber is also super easy and can be done fast! I recommend this vacuum to any household!
