The shark has great suction. I need to get used to driving it around the house. It is very different than my old Hoover upright. And we have several smaller rugs that the shark grabs on to so I need to learn to vacuum the rug without it being sucked up.

This Shark is so much less than my last Shark. The cord is too short, too stiff, the storing loops are too low. The on/off switch is too low. The weight is good because it's all thin plastic. The suction is not very strong. The beater bar doesn't seem to pick up well, my medium height area rug isn't fluffed up. There is only one filter to wash....good.

I bought this vacuum a month ago and it has been pretty good to us! Couldn’t be happier with the extended hose as well! I’m pregnant so it helps me get the hard to reach places without extending myself too much! Love it! Suction is great and we don’t see any pet hair after A vacuum session!

This vacuum model is very easy to use! It’s quieter than most (one of my cats is not afraid of it). It’s easy to maneuver because it’s lightweight compared to most. The dirt cup is easy to empty. The filters only need to be cleaned with warm water. My only complaint is that is does not have a brush tool. The only tools included are a crevice tool and power pet brush. Both are helpful, but a brush is best for cleaning trim, ceiling corners and window sills.

Shark vacuums are the bee's knees, I never buy any other brand. This vacuum does the job the only issue I've found is that it does not have a light on the front which I miss. I definitely recommend the shark lift off series they have the bells and whistles.

Beautiful machine. Sorry I didn’t buy better b4 now. Sucks up leaves and gravel rocks and grass and everything else dragged inside out in the country. Gets the big and the small on carpets and hardwood floors. So ez to maneuver also. Like all stand up vacs I don’t like the attachments hose but it’s not a canister so....

This is the best vacuum I have ever had! The suction is fantastic. I did have a problem with it toppling over when the hose is fully extended to get cob webs off tall ceilings. Since I got it for such a great price, I will not complain about that. Placing one knee on each side of the canister may help that. I was gob smacked when I saw what came off the 5x7 rug in my room. The design is ingenious.

This is our second Shark. Our previous was the model before this one, purchased about 6 years ago. It still works but, is just about wore out. We have 4 girls and 2 German Shepards so, there is a lot of hair. I have to cut hair out of the brushes twice a year. Besides carpet about half our home is hardwood or tile. The Shark vacuum has worked extremely well throughout the home for us. I didn’t think twice about buying another Shark to replace our first.

I'm dog sitting a yellow lab who sheds constantly and this vacuum does the job on both my hard flooring and rugs. I love the size of the dust bin which allows me to vacuum the entire house before having to empty it. It has great maneuverability and is not bulky to handle.

Not really a "workhorse" vacuum. Good for light usage and not heavy duty cleaning. Positives are the detachable wand and the separate canister than the main dirt collector. Don't buy if you need something to clean up after a long hair shedding pet.
