Oh my goodness. Where do I begin. I’m 69 years old and I have NEVER had a vacuum that works this good. When I got it out of the box it was very light weight and I thought, Oh no. This is going to be a piece of junk. I couldn’t have been more wrong. It is so easy on my back The amount it removed from my carpet is embarrassing Hands down , it is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned For it to be so light weight yet clean so well to me is amazing

Great value - works extremely well on hard floors (vinyl, laminate) and my low pile rugs. I have a golden retriever that sheds a lot and this vacuum is excellent at picking up all the dog fur on all my floors, better than any other vacuum I've ever used. One thing I really like is that the brush will spin on the carpet setting but it also spins on the hard floor setting but just at a low speed. I've found this to work far better for hard floors than other vacuums that just use suction alone. The brush doesn't spin fast enough to throw small pieces of dirt and crumbs all over the place like it sometimes does when you have the brush on normal high speed. It's the best feature of the machine. It's also very easy to clean and it has a huge container for debris. On other vacuums, my dogs fur tends to get stuck in the container and I have to reach in and pull it out (yuck!). I haven't had to pull any dog fur out of this vacuum's contain though. The design is such that the fur and debris all just drops out in the the garbage can when I open it. Very nice. On medium to high pile carpet it seems to work about the same as any other good vacuum does. It does the job and cleans well with a minimal amount of strokes across the floor. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to my friends. It works as well as the $400 machines and better than some.

We have a German Shephard, which guarantees this vacuum gets a good workout.... so much hair!!! I've used it twice now and am generally happy with its performance. My only complaint is that the roller stops when vacumming over my dog's crate pad (not sure if its the material or structure)... which my old vacuum ran over it just fine.

I have had several shark vacuums and have loved them. This one is not my favorite. The power brush (needed for carpet) shuts off over and over and over while I’m attempting to vacuum my area rug. So I have to stand it straight up, shut it off, turn it on again to attempt to vacuum the rug again. I’m going through this ridiculous at least 20 times just to vacuum an 8x10 area rug. My rug has nap but it’s not that thick. My old shark would do this same thing only occasionally. Would be nice to be able to raise the vacuum, Shark.

I purchased this to replace my Dyson Ball and I’m not 100% sure it’s even comparable to the Dyson. I feel the suction is okay. It is lite weight as described. The attachments are very nice for furniture and hard wood floors. I probably will go back to a Dyson once this one dies.

Great Vaccum! I am giving it 4 stars mainly due to having to wind the cord out and back everytime and not being able to turn off yhe brush for other surfaces. Not having an automatic cord winder is more of an inconvienience than a funtion feature-no one wants to wind a cord do they? I didn't realize modern vaccums still did this..I would have loved an auto cord feeder, my old vaccum had this feature and the cord seemed to be easier to handle. Also, you can't turn the brush off when going to hardwood-only change the amount of suction. Since 99% of my flooring is hardwood-it could be an issue with scratches..I will watch this. I would recommend this for those that have carpet over any other type of flooring due to the brush not being able to be turned off. Those with softer wood floor finishes may want to steer clear of this model. Overall it is impressive and does a great job!

Absolute love it! I have a Kirby and it is so heavy and cumbersome to use. The first time I used my Shark it got way more out of a rug that the Kirby had just been over. I love how it swivels and I can get under things that I never could with the Kirby.

This was on sale with a rebate and couldn't pass it up. We own 4 sharks but one was getting old and need replaced. This vacuum is fantastic. My only complaint is we have older carpet in the living room and the suction is so good that it is fraying the carpet.

This is my 2nd shark and it did a great job on my my hardwood floors and transitioned well to the orientals. It is less bulky than my other shark. This one definitely has a much longer cord so it was great that i only have to replug once where it is being used :)

I purchased this vacuum because I previously owned one before. This vacuum is okay, but appears to be a cheaper version of what I previously had. The suction is not as good. Does not clean as well. But, on the other hand, if you just have some light duty vacuuming that you want to do, It works great. It's hard to write a positive review when you know you've had better.
