This replaced a 20 year old vacuum and I didn’t realize how bad the suction had become on the old unit. This vacuum is awesome. I’ve got a shedding dog and I can’t believe the dog hair that this picks up. The canister is large so I can vacuum longer without having to empty it. The machine was very easy to put together and is very easy to use. The handle snaps out to use the hose with the attachments. The vacuum rotates on a ball to allow cleaning under furniture and in corners. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Super vacuum! It's relatively light weight so it's not cumbersome to haul up and down the stairs. It's versatile in that it works on bare floors, carpets, as well as with the attachments for upholstery, etc. The small powered attachment is awesome for upholstery as well as cleaning out cars. The only minor drawback is that it only has the crevice attachment and the small powered attachment, which, for me, is not a problem because I have additional attachments from other vacuums that work, but I would miss the brush attachment, in particular, if I didn't have one. Other than that, I'm really happy with this vacuum so far.

My son has a long hair dog that sheds bad. I was sweeping with a broom, dust mop. Also using a hand held vac to try and keep the dog hair under control. This vacuum has eliminated the need for most of all the previous means of cleaning the dog hair. The suction is amazingly strong. Love the ability to switch between carpet and bear floor with a flip of a switch without having to bend over.

Very good suction, and overall a good value for the price. I am disappointed it does not come with many accessories or attachments. Also, the power cord is noticeably short, so you have to unplug it several times to move it around a larger room. I would recommend the vacuum for the overall value.

I asked a relative to buy me this vacuum as a Christmas gift during the Black Friday sale. After using this vacuum I would buy it again full price plus some! It beyond exceeded my expectations of the amount of dirt, dust and dog hair it can suck up. I truly recommend this vacuum to anyone wanting an amazing vacuum for less than $200.

Very good at cleaning, lightweight, but does not have the light at the front like my other Shark Rotator. The light at at the front is essential. I can be absolutely sure everything is working correctly and dirt is being removed properly. I am only using this vacuum upstairs, not in the main area of my home because I need that light.

This vacuum has great suction on carpets, but is rather awkward as far as handling. It sort of flops around. It also does not go under beds. The part of the vacuum that holds the dust collection is quite large. There is also a lot of hot air that blows out of the front of the vacuum while you are using it, causing the user to get very warm. The attachment for pet hair does not store on the main vacuum very well. It keeps falling off when it is not in use.

This is my second Shark vacuum. I’ve also purchased one for each of my daughters. They’re great sweepers. This one is much better on hard surfaces than the other model I had because this brush rotates slowly (versus not at all on the old one) when on the hard floor setting. I’m not super impressed with it on carpets. It seems like when I pull back, the suction is released a bit and it’s not picking up as well as it should be. I am keeping it and just going slower when I’m on carpets because I think it’s still the best brand on the market for the price.

This vacuum was for my daughter who had been using a 44 year old vacuum my wife and I received when we got married. Needless to say the old model didn't do a a great job anymore and she needed something that could pick up dog hair. I saw this Shark advertised on the Black Friday Sale and for the price, my daughter could not be happier. She ran this over her carpet and was amazed at the amount of hair this vac picked up.

We love Shark vacuum's.! We used our old one first to vacuum (we have 2 dogs so we vacuum all the time) then went over the carpet again with the new one. What a difference!! It picked up so much more ! We will never buy anything but a Shark! Especially if you have pets highly recommended!
